Reinvented, I don't know if I'm going to send in this mb for a RMA or try a different board (anyothers note worthy?). I'm looking for something 24/7 stable. I've read through the threads and can't seem to find a happy spot. I'm on phase and would really like to get a nice oc, but I keep getting memory errors (Patriot 1066 4gb), random crashes, and is just unstable. I dont know where to start at that high of a speed. I don't know what else anything does in the bios besides the cpu and memory settings. Just wanted to see if some people that have a good oc are setting all the other stuff at. Thanks again for the help.

If I wasn't running SLi, I'd get a GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6.

Thanks douirc, but I have two 8800 gtx ko's, so unless I want one to sit on the bench, I need an sli board.

Theres some of my settings. You do need to do the vdrop mod on the board, as well as possibly the mod to increase cpu voltage or vfsb.
Do me a favor and post all your settings that you are currently using, and we will work from there.

is anyone running mem linked at 1:1? any problems reported on this?
I can't seem to run linked 1:1, but can run all other modes (auto, 5:4, 3:2 ...). mem in sig running @ 2.1v
was using 4x2GB and tried 2x2GB (didn't work) and tried 1x2GB to no avail too. memtest86 showed that one stick was bad (failing test 5). but no combination of the good RAM would run 1:1 either. Is there a setting I'm missing?
the PC makes a long beep after saving, then won't POST. it puts itself in safe mode and suggests resetting CPU in BIOS or clearing CMOS by pressing DEL or whatever.
