c'mon hipro...I've been waiting on this for quite a while now....
Do you really think that he cares about the time you are already waiting for the pics? Remember he's been working on this project for over a year now. He won't care for a few more weeks, will he?
And even if he would, I think that he's got REAL work to do, besides his hobby.
So, please be patient and don't moan about it. ;)
Over 41k views on this thread i think a lot of ppl have been waiting :p:
I'm new, but I'm definitely subscribing to Hipro5's thread.
This should be interesting.

Hipro why none of this project is not in the lab or i'am blind ? :D
keep up the good work :D
3 years for the maximiser... 1 years for the Poweriser :p
still within the timeframe :D
good stuff are always late ;)
Good to hear that your almost done w/ your project.
I hate it when people rush you... Comon people Hipro is trying to build a piece of art here. He can take another year to build this if he thinks itll make it perfect.
It took michelangelo 4 years to paint the Sisteen Chapel, and then he achieved perfection.
I say, lets give hipro some time, and he'll build a helluva beast!

I've used 5 x DDR Maximizers constructed by me, and mod them for this usage....
3 of them will be for the 12V, 1 for the 3.3Volts (trimmed by in front up to 3.75V), and one for the 5V.....
The total REAL 24/7 power of it, will be 4500 Watts.....:D
I designed all the other PCBs especially for this purpose.....I did them very simple coz I didn't have much spare time....
One PCB is the Protections and automatations....One PCB is for the fans - thermaly controled - up to 10Amps.....One PCB is the RELE's which feed the output power circuits and one is the standby voltage - 5V/25A..... :D
I've made another 2 x PCI-E cables with a "sensor cable" included so to read the voltage direct from the PCI-E slot and correct it....By doing so, I will have no Vdroop onto cables.....PLUS the cables are TOO thick.....
I'll be back.....:)
.
dude, you are insane :P
gratz
This is just so so so :woot: Can't say it another way. There are some many pieces. I don't see sinks you have them back there somewhere right ?

btw got any pics of that huge transformer you were talking about?
Looks good ;).
Going to be very cool and wild when you are done with the little :p: monster
haha you keep on finding more and more uses for those maximizers!
You are looking at 1800W at least on the 12v rail right? :p:
Any pictures of the transformers? :)
I just looked at some of the most insane pictures of electronic hardware I've ever seen.
I am in awe of your skills. (and balls)
how you keeping that beast cool
