;) Ahhhhhh, no problem mate.

Go to BIOS a take a look what FSB You are running. I.e. it is 400. Then go to the RAM section in BIOS and set the RAM speed also to 400 (DDR2-800).

That's it - You are 1:1.

Whats the difference between the Asus P5W64-WS Pro and the Asus P5WDG2-WS Pro?

Does the board work with SLI or is it crossfire?

What would be the best memory for the Asus P5W64-WS Pro and a 6300?

If the board supports SLI (asus dont say on their website?) does it come with a SLI bridge?

I think hes saying that its essential for the board to cold-reboot in order for the PLL to apply the clock properly. However, as the recent BIOS for the P5B Deluxe (0711) shows - it definitely doesn't need to do this. There have been a few times my board hasn't cold-rebooted going from stock speeds to 430FSB, but on subsequent restarts it will - so it's definitely some kind of pointless BIOS protection feature.

This board doesn`t do the cold boot reset strap thing, "she" :p: will only reset the strap while rebooting or if you change something important in the bios :)

Scythe infinity?

Did anyone use this board with the scythe infinity? Did you have any problems or was it straightforward? What other air-cooling solutions did you guys manage to use without any bending or tweaking on the board?

I used the Scythe Infinity. You should not have any problems. It is easier to install IF you install the fan after you mount it to the mobo.

It's been fixed for P5B and now for P5WDH. I expect it to happen on P5W64 also.
It still going to double restart when changing strap but it will solve the software restarts.
