why?... oh WHY!!!??? god must hate me.... =[
I finally got my new bios chip in today, i was excited as heck! so i popped out the old chip, and popped in the new one, plug in the power and turn the pc on.... nothing!!! i still got nothing but a black screen!!! no beeps, no nothing.... why am i doing wrong!!!??? some one please help me =`[

did you clear the cmos and take out the battery? If nothing..RMA

FreecableGuy- after your Vmch voltmod, whats resistance in ohms i need to set on potentiometer if i want for example 1.75V? Where are measuring Vmch voltage points? What is maximal voltage of Vmch after this mod?

I'm in despair... did the reset, still nothing but the black screen, i have no idea if it is the mobo, ram, graphic card, or cpu's problem.... if i RMA the mobo, they don't even have it in stock right now.... confused, don't know what to do.... =[

Hey heartbleed, i juse read your last 2 posts.
i think he's talking about the jumper above the orange sata slot on the edge of the mobo. move it to the middle+right pin for ~30 sec. move it back.
also, try hooking in a fan into the cpu fan header.
i just took mine apart to install w/c on the nb. when i put it back together, everything would power up, but nothing would show up on the screen. i did the steps i told you above and it posted, etc.
try it out
