It's a great unit, the fact that it is OEMed by Seasonic doesn't hurt either. Very quiet but still dissipates heat nicely

Yeah i found the same with the 24 pin cable. Apart from that a nice PSU :toast:

I have the Corsair HX620W also, my only complaint is the use of proprietary connectors at the psu end of the modular cables. My Silverstone Strider 750 uses standard molex plugs, so I can make my own wire runs as needed. Other than that no complaints at all.

It's just a re-badged Seasonic fyi. Good PSU's. Personally though, I'd just get the Seasonic M12 600w or 700w.

I had to "rework" this TT Armor quite a bit to fit my "vision" inside (and outside :P)

Apart from the obvious differences with the stock one (top-front USBs, bulgin switches, custom delrin top, magnets) there's quite a bit of filing, nibbling, removing and shuffling involved :D

Once you start installing things in places where they are not supposed to be, everything seems to get in the way, even the left reinforcement bar and the PSU support bracket, which had to be modified and moved to fit the pump/res assembly ^^

I Don't particularly like the top placement of the USBs in the stock TT Armor. Finally, using a whole 5 1/4 bay just for the power/reset switch wasn't my cup of tea.

Custom delrin top:

Even with positive air pressure too much dust/debris was entering the enclosure from the top. Besides, the stock design didn't look very good once I removed the plastic cover to fit the reservoir and the top USB/Firewire/Audio connectors were gone.

Delrin came to the rescue ^^. Aluminium 6mm spacers were used in order to leave a gap for the hot air to escape. They are barely noticeable in the picture, but the bolts are SS316 countersunk hex, which I think look gorgeous :p I suppose not to everyone's taste, but certainly to mine.

During the week I barely have time to do anything, and when I do I'm playing Oblivion :D

I'll post proper stock / oc-ed temps over the weeked. For now Idle temps @stock are:

Ambient: 19
Water: 24
GPU (8800GTX): 39
CPU (X6800): C1 > 36, C2> 38

Not that impressive I'm afraid. We'll see load...

And I've the feeling I will have to re-mount the CPU. Those 2C difference between cores smell to bad mount / uneven TIM to me.

I made a quick (16 min) Orthos run and temps went up to: C1 > 41 / C2 > 43

Water temp went up to 25.

Good temps however! ;)

I have that difference between core 1/2 too...tried in all the ways remounting the wb but nothing happens...could be the socket ritention not very straight and of consequence the wb has a bad contact ;)

I am using a Laing DDC-T with the Watercool DDC-Tank LT. No bubbles or whirlpool in there, works very fine. Then a NexXxos XP CPU Cooler, Cooltek Exstream Dualradiator with two loonies and as you can see Tygontube.:)

btw, are those the stock 80mm fans from Thermaltake?
word of advice, change em up soon, they're quit whiny after a few months.
for the front 2 80mms, you could mod to accomodate 2 120mms, for the back single 120mm fans.
