canon got my camera last friday and they shipped it back monday and i had it tuesday... even the tech support guy couldn't beleive they got it done that fast.

when its on its on, but when its off... there is no doubt its off. they calibrated it in such a way that i dont know how they could miss the massive front focus and back focus from the 50mm to 85mm.
but again when its on, its on.

if i had to do it all again i would have gotten the 5D MKII

Nikon should hire you as representative of what you can do with even lowest (price wise) dSLR they do..

I would really love to see what you would be capable doing with D700 or more..

Wow, that image looks better than what most people can get out of their recent DSLR. I'm amazed at both the camera's capture, and the ability of that scanner.

Did anyone else notice that's scanned from film, from a 1994 camera? Good work.

Yup, noticed, MF cameras have enough resolution to be much better than any current dSLR (not mentioning colors or DR with proper exposure). Only downside is need for high quality scanner (which usually costs as 1DMK3 or so:D). This one will be from what I guess is Nikon Coolscan. Perfect scan, well and ofc great pic..

I tought about getting Mamiya 645 AFD III, but theres none with good scanner (or in fact, they dont have any scanners here.. :( )
