Thanks for posting the benchmarks, looks fairly impressive and better value wise than the titan. Quite curious how it will clock.(badly i suspect)
Your welcome:)
for me if GTX 780 come with this Price 650/700$......my chassi will feel good like me:D
If its only a handful of % slow but a good 30% cheaper then it's a winner.
Plus lightnings/FTWs!

Over the yrs Hexus posts quite early, maybe because they are in the UK. Hope to hell these cards don't come as close as they seem in those graphics to my Titans, this would not be cool.
Do you know how GPUs work?
To call you out, how do you explain 5870->6970?
Might want to read up on SMXs again. Scheduling is highly dependent on software.
FYI- Synthetics aren't the best way to compare the difference between Titan and GTX780. GTX780 is ~10-15% slower.
I bought a Titan SC this week knowing these were on the way. (or at least strongly suspecting)
The fact of the matter is, Titans are worth more than these cards. Whether they're worth $300 more probably depends on the user, but for me at least $150 - $200..
So if I paid $300 extra for a card that will always perform higher at stock speeds and I'll never have to worry about running out of VRAM, I'm not going to complain about the price/performance.
Price/Performance wasn't there when I bought any of my intel extreme cpus and AMD FX (the real $1000 FXs, not the beefdozer stuff)
I'm just gonna need a card that can run games at 2560 x 1600 or 2560 x 1440 at max settings.
What are the chances of the Titan dropping in price after the new releases?
You are brave and I hope your using 2560 x 1600 as I see this as the only advantage. The 150 difference I can deal with, its gonna be more like $400. 2 x gt780 $1200 1 Titan $1049. The gtx 780 sli will surely blow away the TITAN and yes still have same ram, as its 2x. I bad joke by nvida I have 2 x Titan have to keep I am screwed but not happy paying premium and 90 days later a clone for 35 percent less. Anyway its all about extreme, I have lost much more with water accidents. Just a vent I am sure many of you feel the same.
SLI doesn't increase usable VRAM, just bandwidth. You still get the 6GB over the 3GB on the Titan but honestly unless you were running 3 x 27-30" displays, I fail to see where 6GB could be used in gaming at this time ( its more for workstation / rendering use ) It's hard enough to exceed 3GB, save for some excessive texture modding and SLI levels of anti aliasing. 6GB is just for the sake of 6GB at this time. A few years down the road that's sure to change though like every VRAM increase before it.
Well I hope you know I did not buy 2 Titans to hook up to 1080p monitors. I have 3 x 120hz 2560 x 1440 OCed.
Buying Titans for 1080p pointless, in my view. Also I use Quadro k5000 for work, works better than Titan for renders.
Both of my monitors are 25X16, Titan for one and a 7970 GHz for the other.
You have NOTHING to be sad about. Two Titans is THE rig for 75X14. My guess is it would be pretty easy to jump that 3GB framebuffer at that res with AA.
So while people with lower res might be better off with 780s, you really only had one choice IMO.
Can we expect reviews soon or is the NDA later than 12:00 EST ?
