Does any one test other E8400 batch Q814A226 or Q814A283??

I had a Q814A218, not good at all. 1.35v to boot at 4Ghz, only SPi 1MB stable, lots of instability. I've changed it with a Q805. Results with Q805:

still pushing for 8's
like my 814
I've seen 2 or 3 good E8400s arround here(Q814) so that's why I also picked a Q814. But mine was not so good as the others I've seen, that's why I changed it with a Q805.
HDCHOPPER has also a Q814, check his sig.
I believe the Q807s are the best around now.
Here's my Q807A Xeon..seems Ive gotten the same results with a few other chips. Wondering if it's my P5K-E limiting me. But I've got LLC enabled and a pencil vmod for droop. They always start needing alot of voltage about 4.1Ghz and the temps get hot quick above this.

Golden oldies - new E8500 Q740A479T straight from Intel to replace my E8500 Q740A493T
http://i4memory.com/reviewimages/cpu..._Q740A479T.jpg
System:
- E8500 Q740A479T 2L7 / 1313
- CPU Cooling: Dtek Fuzion Rad Tower Box
- Asus Blitz Formula 1402 bios
- EVGA 9800GX2 stock hsf
- 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC2-8500 dual channel kit

- WinXP Pro SP2 Nlite Fully Updated.
So far this E8500 Q740A479T would have to be the best wolfdale cpu I've had on many levels including:
All vcore reported below are idle vcore with loadline calibration disabled, so there's a 0.08-0.016v droop under load.
- lowest vcore and max boot into memtest at 4218Mhz at 1.184v
- lowest vcore for 4009Mhz boot into windows at 1.184v
- lowest vcore for 4009Mhz 8M Pi at 1.192v idle/1.176v load
- lowest vcore for 4000Mhz prime 1hr stable at 1.240v
- highest FSB for 1M Pi at default CPU VTT of 1.10v = 540FSB straight boot from bios
4009Mhz 8M Pi at 1.192v idle

4000Mhz Prime95 1hr at 1.240v load

Super Pi 1M @540FSB at CPU VTT default 1.10v

nice that's on sub zero though... my E8500 Q740A493T hit 5320Mhz cpuz on 1/4HP and 4896Mhz on water :)
5003Mhz 3dmark for Q740A493T

Now this E8500 Q740A479T is better than my E8500 Q740A479T above - in terms of vcore needed for 4ghz prime and fsb on air/water :D
4602Mhz 1.408v idle / 1.392v load

Super Pi 1M with CPUZ and Everest running at same time

E8500 Q740A479T seems to have alot of potential :D
you Aussies always get the best CPU's :) Good one Sir George :p
Hi,
I´m going to buy e8400 today... could you please write me some batch numbers which are good for OC ( I see some Q805, 807, 809 here) or which one not to buy? .... Thanks much
Look at my signature I made an OC list of all the members here in an Excell sheet :
http://users.pandora.be/OAP/wolfdaleOClist.xls
Here is another to that list... E3110 Q807A091 -

http://3dxtreme.net/other/E3110%20Q8...202-1.344v.jpg
Leeghoofd what do i have to make my chip go thru to enter your list ? :D
Orthos, pi ? Prime ?
ZenEffect just do max mem and tighten ram timings. 8.xxx shouldn't be a problem. Esp at that speed.
