yea dude i changed it to 1 hour since theres 1 more hour left before 12am and a new day so i could hurry up and finish a project in an hour and get some points and i hit update and i get this 3 and a half hour wu.... :/ and what would u say the "Connect to network about every" should be set at ?

Some info: Free-DC stats page ends it's "day" app 9pm EST
The updates happen at 3am,9am,3pm and 9pmEST.
This isn't carved in stone, it does change from time to time.
I use a set 4 hour preference and get no problems on any of my machines.
I did see a work unit that I mentioned earlier that was stuck at 1% but this is the first one I've seen since that 4.82 mess a few weeks ago.
I used to use a 2 hour setting but I think 4 is better. Some of these units need 4 hours to complete one cycle and I think if your set to less than that it can create a conflict at times.
I'm like the rest of you, I like to see the numbers increase or I'd be set to 24 hours!:D
Think of rosetta as a marathon, not as a sprint. On a dedicated cruncher your not looking for the absolute last possible mhz you can pry out of the machine. Your looking for 24/7/365 stable so there's nothing wrong with taking a machine that will JUST boot to windows at 3000 and setting it back to 2600-2700. The stability factor will more than offset those extra points because you won't have downtime.
This is one race where the tortoise CAN beat the hare!:D

Still even with that dump: The were only able to gain a measly 23 k on Us.

IF we keep up the pace, we can and will pass them in May..
They were much faster to mobilize than we were. They are more like an organized army and XS is a group of highly talented individuals. We brought in almost 100 new members during April but most of them during the last 2 weeks of the month.
WE DO have the firepower now if everyone keeps it up another month!

Ialso notice that Free DC have ramped recently. Especially PY222. He's just a shade off our lord and master DDT. Things are just about to get interesting. DPC will drop off as the month continues. . . .we will overtake them, only to be confronted by a rejuvinated free-dc. I think this stampede is only the first chapter of an epic.

Im not sure Free DC is all about Rosetta. Certainily they could put up a lot more, but like the cows they are in virtually every other DC project. PY 222 is certainily a force to be reckoned with taking our #2 daily out the window. With the combined power of LBM and DD we should easily out produce him and for that matter Free DC's top producers. Its up to the rest of the team to take it to them. I dont think Free DC wants to give up first place, but they will probably have to. Tremendous interest in the project if us + free DC + DPC all did about the same.
