Damn Kevin , just read the entire thread. Thats one :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty week . Sort of similar to mine , only worse :( . I killed my DFI's bios , my redlines , my golden winnie and have no good ram other my 2x256 mb kit of hyperx pc2700 .
But glad to see ur back in action. U got ne new processors coming in ?? I really want this board but the cpu deaths are scaring me really bad .
Have you tested these yet? The hard drive I don't see working, but the ram might... I'm actually curious to know.Quote:

No one answered a couple pages back, so I'll ask again:
I have been running my opteron 144 CAB2E at 333x9 (3ghz) game stable at about 1.6v, but at my highest 1mb super PI clock (343HTT) I have to run 2.0x LDT. I cannot do 340+ HTT with the 2.5x LDT, and the 2.0x is a performance hit.
Since I'm limited to x9 multi, I need a board that can do at least 340-350HTT, hoping that the 2.5x LDT will work. Has the expert been doing that with ease?
Has anyone else had a problem with 2.5x LDT with high HTT?

I turned on my expert for first time last night, and started playing with my mushkin redline, seemed to do 250@ 3.09V like you said! I'm trying to convince it to do 260@ 3.22 right now, but it is not being completely cooperative!
Still not bad for my first time ever using a DFI board and mushkin ram all on the same day.
I will keep trying though, hope you get all your personal stuff sorted out !

that a64tweaker shots reminds me a lot of my optimal settings for 512mb ballistix with 5b G in it, tight timings are nice :toast:

Actually there is no any IC they are unable to get.
