It is correct to the Date and time, the sad thing is that it's not 0900 The 5th of October at the same time on this planet. ;)

Can't argue on that, but they have chosen not to.

It would be fair to see stock scores, but not overclocked with LN2. It just takes away the shock of your new buyed card because everyone will know that those cards can do those scores on LN2. It makes overclocking not so fun anymore :(

I went from an indifference about HardOCP to a personal ban of the site...the last time I checked, most enthusiasts want to read about the best hardware available during a product launch, but I guess they aren't ready to see Nvidia get pounded on a little?

The card isnt available seconds after launch doesnt mean it wont be available at all. Check in the next couple of days for it (X1800XL) to start popping up.

I think Mickey was talking about the XT, which (according to ATI) won't be available until at least November 15. I think it's fair to call that a paper launch.

And as I've been informed, no site got a 1800XL/XT CF card...

I think they should be reviewing the XT if they can...why not? It is out in one month (they say :cool: ), and I wouldn't mind knowing what the card is going to do so I can either buy it, or not buy it.

Some hardware sites are going to review it, which is the job of hardware review sites...and those are the sites I will visit then, and after.

I see no problem with being informed.

The ATi CrossFire chipset is set & done.
Many motherboard manufacturers already finished with their ATi mobos, and some already shipped to distribs / shops...

Soon DFI ATi Mobo & MSI ATi Mobo will hit the stores

Got to agree with Jason to some extent, actually a lot of the reviewers seem unhappy with ATi for either

lack of time to review
lack of samples
none existent card availability

If you want a good summary read Hot Hardwares conclusion some excellent points. If Ati had got this baby out on time then it would have been seen as fantastic performance, but the G70 came first so now it just looks good. G70 was also on the shelves.

Still a speedy card though.

Anyone seen a 3dmark2001 bench or any overclocking results by the reviewers ?
