Probably a fake, from what I've been hearing only XL samples have been put out too. I've seen several websites posting about this, even blackmails (haha, how lame) My guess they had an XL, if that. ATI has said that there are a few X1800XL's for press but no XT's etc. They probably just underclocked a GT or GTX for all we know. We have no way of telling. I'd put money on it that those benchmark's are fake. He's just trying to get back at ATI :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana:

I know that point can be argued, but IMO stringing us along has become second nature to them. I am always looking for newer and better equipment, so I welcome competition between manufactures. Same goes for AMD and INTEL. Im afraid that ATI will ultimately lose this round and lose it bad. Maybe they will come through, and I hope so for everyones sake. We all stand to lose something in the big picture if one company becomes to dominate.

Even if we assume that it wont be as fast as the GTX, at the very least, it will bring as much of a performance increase in games as the GTX brought relative to the Ultra....same goes for the X1800Pro vs GT. OR...at least i have my fingers crossed.
