s7e9h3n - what MSI mobo do you have?
Venice 3200+ LBBLE 0516 EPGW
Tt ComboCoolPipe 101+Tt SilentCat
2912MHz
Didn't check 32M but pretty sure it wouldn't pass.
Prime95 stable at 2720MHz@1,488V
check the official OC'ing section not this discussion one, I know there's atleast a couple people with phase change, mostly prometias, don't think theres any dual or triple cascades though.Quote:
Does anyone with a venice have phase? Just curious. All these seem like air and water. I just want to know if they have cold bugs.
I'm almost certain one guy was showing 3.2GHz with his phase change
3.3ghz with the 3500+.. i mean the guy with phase change
what is the stock multiplier on the venice 3000+?

French DB of Stable and Bench ocing of Venice and San Diego !!
Gogo :D
This is about all I can get stable on air with 1.5 vcore, not bad.....
Decided that 2750Mhz will be my 24/7 setting, max temps loaded 28C system, 46C cpu... @1.50v
Will bump to 1.55 later and see if 2800 is reachable and stable...
ok, i'm stable 2.610 (290x9) at 1.488v, and then the cpu hits a damn wall, 295htt even with 1.5vx110%, the hard drive shuts down before windows finishes loading and pc reboots. using a 2/3 divider for my kingmax value pc3200 (186mhz), 7/10 (203mhz) won't pass memtest, even with 2.9vdimm. i find this really strange since its only 3mhz over, and i'm using 2.5, 4, 4, 8 timings. at first windows wouldnt boot even with the 2/3 divider, but i figured out that what was happening. when i was using the 2/3 divider, the mobo was assuming that the ram was running at 133mhz, and was adjusting all the settings i left on auto to really agressive timings, but htt being 290, the ram couldn't handle it. so i put the ram back 1:1 and booted up with stock 200htt and all the ram on auto, loaded up A64 Tweaker (thanks for a very helpful util) and wrote down all the timings, went back to bios and entered them, and now im stanble at 290htt and 2/3 didvider, but 7/10 should work also. there are more settings in the dram config that a64 tweaker doesnt detect and i dont know what to do with them (never seen them before the dfi) and i feel that the mobo is still adjusting them for 140mhz when i chose 7/10 and holding me back. any ideas?

I like how you seperated stable and benching as well as air/water/phase change. Honestly, that is very cool.Quote:

Damn man, nice. Best LBBLE stepping I've seen. I should have ripped you off and kept it. ;) Just kidding of course. Congrats.

im hitting close to 2.8 on some generic heatsink right now...gotta order my replacement waterblock and see what this thing can do
Guys where can I get the LATEST A64 tweaker? I got version 0.50 XT but there is a more recent one. Can't seem to find it.
Right from DFI's site. (I'm assuming you're running an NF4 derivative?) Just go into the BIOS/drivers downloads section for your board and it'll be there.Quote:
