I tried every combination of underclocked (even under 230htt) settings I could think of incl all sorts of voltages and Nada. Gave up and sent them back. I think I'll stick with tccd's at 300htt 1-1 for now even if lower timings. O have no idea what the problem with the ram was. Bios 414-3.
It's the DFI, it's psycho. :DQuote:

And isn't the 414-3 the best bios for TCCD. Isn't there/shouldn't there be a bios that is for Bh-5?
Mine booted np. I set it to 250, 2-2-2-6 3.2v. Worked from there. I have had some boot problems when trying to see how far they'd go, and it would give me some errors recognizing my raid array. A quick cmos reset cleared that all up.
So I seem to hit a wall at 265, oh and it was 3.6v not 3.4, I'll edit that post here in a second.
So 265 2-2-2-6 3.6v 414-3 Bios, Also to note I loaded optimized settings, only changed the 2-2-2-6 1:1 ratio, and 1t command rate, everything else was left at the "optimized" defaults.
So I'll run this for a few days and see if a burn in effect has taken effect and see if I can't get a few more mhz out of these.
I'm still very happy with my results. Will run blend for 24h this weekend to make sure they are rock solid, they pass memtest np.
Also Canibuz, 414-1 is TCCD, 414-2 UTT types, 414-3 general, I believe is how the bios for the DFI NF4 is right now.
So now I just have to get rid of my pc4800s heh.
