Btw the ram is just at 1xx mhz cuz its bh5 and i dont got the ddr booster or voltmod... and i cant find my beloved tccd's :mad:

3200+ E6 Venice can anyone tell me anything about these. How high you have got them to overclock...

I am right now at

2.4 @ 1.45vcore.

Asrock 939Dual-Sata 2 OCWB beta 2 bios

Havent done any vcore mods so 1.45 is the highest I can go. Thinking about going ahead and doing the mod.

Running danger den water cooling... current temp is 25C.

I think you got the wrong thread. This is venice thread. Theres an opteron thread you should ask.

But the answer to your question is yes. CABYE is good. CABGE = BAD

Here's 24+hours prime at 2.8 with venice in my sig. Might be selling it now that opty is looking to be a better chip.

Can someone give the best Venice weeks after 20th week.
As i cant find the beautiful 17th week here in India now.

Will be using it with a DFI Nf4 Ultra-D

Will be cooling it with a XP90 or a SI120.

Wanted a 3000+ Venice which will atleast OC till 2.9Ghz

Please Guys i am completly relying on you guys for this info.
Also if its posted in some thread please post the thread that would also be useful.

Earlier i had seen a Venice Core Database thread where many people with there
15,16,17,18th week venice had posted there max oc's on air , water & ln2.

Got a prime95 question for someone. Ocing my 3200+ venice on my Epox 9npa+ mobo.

Trying to OC at 2.5ghz right now. I am at 1.55 volts. It was the same error with 1.5 volts. I just did 10x multi with 250 frequency. Ive tried it with HTT at 5x, 4x, and 3x. All similar errors. Memory is relaxed right now at SPD settings. Which is 3-3-3-9 2t right now at 2.7volts(to rule out memory problems. My memory is Corsair XMS 4400C2PT which is TCCD. So its not the memory...

What does this prime95 error refer to? CPU related? Voltage? Memory?

Test 1, 400 Lucas-Lehmer iterations of M11922945 using 1024K FFT Length.
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.4999991484, Expected less than 0.4

Hi, my clockgen for nf3 just stopped reading the correct cpu clock, it shows amzingly high clock speed :( What can the problem be? CPUz is working fine tho.

I will now reinstall my nf3 drivers. Still reporting wrong numbers.

Here fooling aound on my dad's new computer. It's a A64 3200, ASUS A8N-E, 2x512MB OCZ Premier setup. Just doing some SuperPi 1M runs with 1.525v (BIOS), and this is my best so far. Also, I can't seem to get any better then around 2.65Ghz Prime95 stable even with extra volts (i.e. I get the same result with 1.475v), and I get the same error as "FallenGod". Then again, given my dad probably won't be using this for anything other then offic work, I think that's more then enough, lol.

Oh, I didn't get a chance to see the stepping before the CPU was installed :(, but afaik it's not that great. This is one of the AMD Tech Tour chips.

One other thing, this is on WinXP x64 Pro.

I've had my system for a few months now and everything seems fine except the odd problems from CSS / HL2 which I believe are related to their rubbish updates. Anyway, aside from that all is well.

Does anyone have any idea how far I would be able to push my system?

Everything is in my sig except this: - LBBLE 0516 DPMW

I played around with overclocking a few months ago but didn't have the time to do all the required testing so I left it for a while. Anyway, I have a bit more time that I can spend doing some benchmarks and tests and leaving it running Memtest and Prime so all I need now are a few pointers to some good primers relating to the Venice's.

If anyone has any experiance with a similar week Venice 3500 then your comments would be greatly appreciated.

hehe, I've seen people pay a lot more for a lot worse. look at it this way, I got an (almost) stock FX-57 for ONLY 219$ ;)

also those are not "my chips", the only time I've ever dealt with the retailer who has them is to buy this single chip

here are best benchies so far, also figured out that I was using too much voltage to get stable at 2763, memtest was passing in DOS but found out the hard way it was not Windows stable...you live and learn

SP 512K 2907mhz @1.678v. Can get SP1M @2989mhz but not higher. bah.
