hey can i gain a few more miliseconds?
i tried almost every timing but most of them weren't stable at this speed/vdimm...
mfg
play with tref first....if that don't work, go to work on trrd and tras
trrd down to 1 if you can, tras down to 0 if you can, raise idle cycle limit if you need to....SHOULD work...might not be enough though.
sorry was the wrong screen.....this was just max at 3,6 v....
i need more power in this config:

thx
mfg
EDIT: i used the exact timings as for the 270mhz screen
What the heeeelll ;)Quote:

My gskill GH seems like hit the wall at 260mhz at 2-2-2-5 at 3.55vdimm. Anything more than 260mhz will give me memtest errors and failed to run SuperPi 1 million and 3d benchies. But managed to run sisoft and everest. Of course prime95 failed instantly
What BIOS are you using? The best ones for me have been 310 (:D yes, 310) and 510-2F. Right now i'm on 623-3 and seems to be fine too.
702-2
And new timmings...
11 trfc is rock stable...
241.4mhz 3.2v (3.18)..
11 hours memtest86+ (40 loops?) + 5000% scan @ memtest for windows :)
I tried 310(official), 623-3(official), 704-2, 510-2, 618-1,618-2 and 618-3 and all seems the same to me. Mentest errors atn 265mhz.
Now using 623-3 and doing burn-in at 261mhz
Yes. Burning can help you. I suggest too check with Hellfire 510-2 or Merlin 510-2.
BTW, over 240Mhz, here my GHs on 3.1V.

Nice. Man. 3.1vimm at 240mhz. Do u think you can get 250mhz at 3.2vdimmmhz??? If possible, that is really a superb :)Quote:

Can run 8M error free at 241.4mhz at 3,03v I think... ;) - Been down to 3.1v in periodes... but it seems to be unstable vdimm :(
Thought I'd add my results in after burning in this pair for some time.

at 3.43v using 510XCELLv2 BIOS.
Try play with Tref, Drive Strength and Data Drive StrengthQuote:

In 240Mhz-3.1V yes, it was with 623-3.
About 250Mhz-3.2V, yes, my GHs can. But not 8M or more stable, my max stable at 3.2V is 4M. That was on 510-2F Bios (CPU-Z recognized it as 623, but you can distinguish by "slot #1").
I even needed to relax tWRT to 2 and RPT to 5.5ns for gain stability. Furthermore, i needed put a fan :D
My working Drive/Data over 250Mhz are L6 and L2, but only in 510-2F, in 623-3 i can't, it's necessary to use weak mode (L5 and L2), at least for me.

Right now i'm on TCCD. I hope in this weekend come back to UTT.
Thx for the tips. Will try tonight and post back some result here. :)Quote:

Check with A64tweaker.
Could I get some pointers on my GH? I'm on a DFI SLI-DR. I'd like to get them to at least 270. Here's where I'm at right now.

Hey I have managed to get both of my kits to get upto 250 2-2-2-5 @ 3.2V. 255 @ 3.4V is possible. 260-265 will be tried but as of now don't actually have time to push it .... work. Shamino, bro thank you for these fantastic Kits!

Can you post all your Genie/Dram settings, please? and what bios are you running?Quote:

I'd suggest this: (in A64Tweaker format)
Left: 2-7-12-2-0, 2 or 3-2,3 or 5-2-2-1-2-3120 (set in BIOS)-1
Right: 16x-128-D-D-7x-7-5-16-D-200-E-Weak (L5,L2=Weak works fine in many configurations on 250Mhz) - D
Vdimm = 3.2V or 3.3V
Ok. Here are my settings in 704-BTA2 bios.

Here's what happens when I try 260. Same settings just 3.6v instead.

G.Skill 1GBGH FTW.. ;)
Was outside though, and I live in the cold north, so it was about 0 to -5 deg C @ mem... :D (GPU was in idle, but clock @ +5 deg C)
9NS?
that's the way too loosen if you ask me.....

async and preamble despends alot on divider, and I use divider, if 3290*10 and ram: 3290/10 = 329 mhz it would be more like 6...Quote:

At first i was like dr000000l till i found out the temp. Still awesome results none the less.
