Good news is I'm picking up some new Ultras today, bad news is I screwed up my cascade lastnight pinching Cap Tube to much:D
Gunna do some serious overclocking soon though:D

crap! get that thing repaired....i was gonna ask you as well have you thought about running with the latest non approved drivers just so you can have the fastest number 1 spot in both FM-Approved and NON-Approved? I feel that the FM approved number one is more legit IMHO but it still would be nice to have the fastest overall any driver as well....just a thought.

ups.... that was bad new OPP... why are you using cap tube and not a txv?

Get that cascade fixed soon so that we can se what the ultra can do :D

BTW: what volt is you using on that FX? And did you gain mutch by taking the spreeder of?

Same question here although not familiar with systems to cool computers. Why not a TXV or even a metering orifice w/ isolation valves? (then it can be swaped for a differant size if needed) :D

I found personally that the 75.xx - 76.xx have much improved system efficiency over any previous builds on my single-card system. I play with a lot of machines at work, but oddly enough have never had a SLi setup run through yet.

Could be a mixed bag, but I suppose OPP will find out soon enough.

I'll try 76.10 to see if you are right Hallowed, I may have stopped testing before getting to those ones as I thought they were going downhill ...

There seemed to be a change somewhere just after 70.90's where nature went up by at least 10fps but the other tests went south. I went from 20 700 on 66.93 down to 20 200 or so in my early tests.

PCIce uses what he likes on his coolers.

As far as the FX, 1.91V and I never even tryed it with the spreader on the chip:D

I tested one of my new Ultras tonight, does about 640 core with -85C cooling.
The other Ultra had a problem when temps dropped colder then -40C, the card can't take the cold.
Still have to fix the Cascade and possably get one new Ultra, may take a week before I can play again.

if 45k is to be reached before the release of r520, that cascade up and running and another ultra is a must...the race is well and truly on.

im still yet to break 25k too :( ...

even if futuremark doesnt remove 01 from the orb anytime soon, i dont think we will be seeing 100k with 2xr520,s.someones forgetting the overwhelming cpu bottleneck :nono: .
