CAS 5 is real as long as you set it during Memory Training NOT AFTER
you can tell by perf diff immediately

True , but when u bench PSC or some wired memory chip
u will see difference between CL8 and CL7 in OS immediately
CL6~CL5 u need lower TCWL also . Or the eff will be still the same . Even worse.
CL4 is some kind of BIOS code bug ... It will return back to the value u set in BIOS .
Apacer 32GB kits is awesome . 2854 12 13 13 35 still going ..

vdimm?
Asrock OC formula have power in 3dmark2003 to :)

So I can replicate my vdimm issue without a hitch, if I set any vdimm north of 1.8 (1.805+) it reverts back to 1.713v, however every value including 1.8v and below sets correctly, this was tested on the latest bios (1.15B&D).
do you have an ean-code?
Sorry...I meant nick...what is the productcode from the stix? I can't find them anywhere!
This board loves BBSE too :D

well... what wrong on my setup for try to play CL5 & CL6 on this board ??? i have better results from CL6 over CL5 at 2400MHz and PSC chip
and for other subtiming all same setting
2400MHz 5-11-8-24-1T, 1.85V (air :D)
http://img.techpowerup.org/120921/pi32_2400c5-2.png
2400MHz 6-11-8-24-1T, 1.85V
http://img.techpowerup.org/120921/2400c6-2.png
and.... not only on high frequency of RAM to see different but i back to try with normal clock at 1600MHz compared by 5-9-9-24-2T and 6-9-9-24-2T
(used 2T for lower Vdimm ;)) all subtiming are same and it same case like above CL6 still better over CL5 and big different as well for Spi32M from two time running
CAS5 - Spi32M first run 07.31.044s | second run 07.30.685s
http://img.techpowerup.org/120921/cl5.png
CAS6 - Spi32M first run 07.28.907s | second run 07.27.845s

btw. 1.15D nice one for PSC ram kit Nick
Lastest BIOS and Software . bios: 1.15D software : 0917

For example , this pic is performance level 5 in bios . U can also choose performance level 4~1 to tight those timing automatically depends on the memory ability.
