I had trouble getting past 248 a couple of weeks ago, and if I'm not mistaken it was with 1303. Running well over that as we speak.

Killer NB speed! What voltages are you running Hondaguy?
Damn 3ghz NB I wish I could do that... What VNB and cooling? Water I assume?
Volts on NB are 1.4, for cooling is just air, in a Antec 900 case
I just flashed back to 1303 to test, and could boot up to 249, 250 on the other hand resulted in no boot. Flashed to 1202 for fun and booted at 268 (which I run 24/7 atm). So yea, there's something fishy with 1303 :)
Edit: Honda, how stable is that nb at 3ghz w. 1.4v?
Anyone got the 0803 bios saved somewhere..? , and also know how to flash to it easy.
Nothing wrong with 1303 guys except some slight ram issues......
To break the myth that 1303 won't let you passed 250 fsb..

can anybody tell me the correct vdrop and vdroop of this board while running prime?
803 is on the CD that came with mobo.......
I cant install older bios on mine, always comes up saying, bios older then board?
installing bios thru EZ flash
1.4 is stable enough for sometesting, but for recoding Vid's it needs at least 1.45-1.475
Really? I can flash any bios i want, as long as it's for this board with EZ flash.

Ive got anothe question regarding vcore settings and which reading to believe....with bios 1303 setting mu vcore to say 1.25 in bios reads 1.285 in hardware monitor...if i check it in everest it says 1.31v and cpuz always reads what ever i have set in bios ...hardware monitor in bios always reads slightly higher at least in 1303...some of the other bios'es ive tryed have a larger gap between vcore setting in bios and what hardware monitor reads in bios...
I was wondering what voltage reading you guys are trusting to be the closest to what it is actually at....
has anyone actually pinned it out with a dvom using one of the latest bios....
Some of you guys have pinned out vcore with a dvom and does someone have an explanation as to where is the correct point is as to where you the point is where you take the reading from?
Page 1 I pinned it out ;) and the best point to get reading from is under the mobo........it's almost identical however......and not feasible while mounted in a case, or insulated for ln2.....not like I'm gonna remove backplate while benching ln2 to read vcore ;)
Came over this vmod if anyone is interested. Haven’t tried it myself so no guarantees :)

what are normally your guys temps in the southbridge "sb750"? Mine if 40ºC i think it's too hot. Has anyone got the same temps?
nb for 790 gx runs that hot. Its not normal for your sb to run that hot. Should be max low 30s.
I have checked the temps on my board with a infrared digital thermometer and my sb runs at 32c, nb at 34c and pwm at 33-36c depending on load...
Also I have very good cooling through my case..
Im using a 7750be right now and my cpu temps mirror what everest shows plus i put the infrared on it and the cpu temp is spot on what everest shows...the cpu temp is taken right off the heat spredder as the artic cooler 64 does not cover the spredder completely...even under load the temps go up some but nothing concerning..of course i dont o/clock like chew or wez...those dudes are mad scientists.....they are both very knowledgeable about this stuff and i so enjoy reading their posts...
there kinda like my idols...lol
