Justintoxicated, there is a thing I don't understand at all. If you bought a 8800GT or GTS or whatever, the stock cooling is already there. Why didn't you ride on air till you get lucky and grab the ramsink. By then, you can prep them for watercooling ;)
Also, you have another shot at ChilledPC as they will get them in stock shortly and maybe in black ;)
I'm guessing that unless someone was greedy like justintoxicated mentioned that they only got 5 or so sets. I know I only bought 1 set.
What's the ETA on that? I guess I could wait one more week tops -- for either silver or black. But any longer than that, just can't do.Quote:

Not defending the rants, but I think it's more that we've had our cards stripped down and waiting for a month or so. I've had mine stripped, cleaned and waiting since around Dec. 15th or so. The tims have depressions on them now so i don't think they are really re-usable. No it did not have a sticker on it, but I'm still hesistant to put my own Ceramiq on it because these days companies seem to look for any excuse to void warranty. Considering every Nvidia card I have ever purchased eventualy dies (usualy the memory goes bad) the warranty is somewhat important.
