your results are great.. what bios do you use??
I think your lucky because you have an E6700 that have high cpu wall??
what is the highest fsb you can do?? what is your cooling?? :)

Definately interested if the board suppors 1333mhz FSB as I'm about to grab a 6850 to replace my E6600 today.

Very nice!
Anyone have anything to add? Has anyone received their G0 stepping processors yet? I spoke to DFI on the subject, and the general feeling I got was it would be supported, but is still in R&D delayed due to some sample processors not arriving, or something like that.

g0 works on p965. overclocks like absolute :banana::banana::banana: though.
Sorry Enoc. Extremely disappointed.
Will do 8x400=3200 with 1.37v actual. But will not do 8x420=3360, even with 1.5v actual. Not even with high vtt/vmch.
I've had 3 e6400's before this, and all would do 8x400=3200 with 1.28-1.32v actual.
what are your bios settings on the dfi?
No it couldn't. It'd post, but it was horribly unstable. If I used rmclock to clamp multiplier at 6x, and setfsb to bring fsb to 450, it was instant lockup.
I'm back to my e6400 l628a and chugging along at 8x450 again.
I've tried stock vtt/vmch. 1.27vtt, 1.3vmch, 1.35vmch, 1.5vmch, 1.5vtt. No help. dq5 tests too with no help.
I figure the thing didn't have much life in it anyway if 8x400=3200 required 1.37v actual to not flake out. Seeing how my past 3 e6400's all did 8x400=3200 with 1.28-1.3v, and subsequently did 8x450=3600 at roughly 1.5v, it doesn't look well for this g0.
Oh well. g0 was really just impulse buy to satisfy my 4ghz craving. Current e6400 isn't slow for me, so I guess I'll stick with it until penryn or so.
I think the retail e6850 G0 will perform better...(I hope so!)
I used 703 Bios w/WaterCooling (Swiftech kit) ,Multiple7 max boot to windows from bios I can do is 577MHz
I will try again at multiple6 :)

Oh, I did not my validation was posted here... That was a rather quick FSB test.
Yesterday I was about to test different dividers for the RAMs but that do not work. :( I do not know if it is related to the latest BIOS or not.
Instead I did another quick test:
vcore: ~1.44v
Cooling: ThermalRight Ultra 120 Extreme with noname-fans (meaning no Deltas yet)
Temp: 45,44,44,45 according to core-temp

valid:

I have not tested higher vcore yet.
EDIT: Anyone else having problems with dividers?

great CPU. :D great results! :D as for me, im severely limited by my Proc. :(
We were really impresed with how this mobo can perform for hours with sub-zero temps. We had a Dry Ice session (me and matose) a few days ago and it just kept on going without any problems. Really, really impresive. We had to work on the CPU, Ram and everything else, but the mobo performed superbly, with all the stress we gave it.
hey guys any results for a retail E6850 or E6750?? really needed to confirm..
got a l719a e6750.
personally, my board won't do 500fsb stably anyway for one reason or another. if you want to exclude the board, then it's probably picky about the buffalo gkx i have (tried potentially 4 different sticks singly).
that said, my everyday overclock with my l628a e6400 is 8x450=3600 1:1 fast/fast mode2/mode1 dq4 104pcie 1.3vnb, 1.2vtt, 1.6vsb, 1.5vcore, 2.1vdimm 4-4-4-9-4-28-11-9-2-8-6-6-5-4-4, c1e, xd, vt all on.
but when i put in my e6750, even 425fsb is a chore. 1.7vsb seems to appease it for the most part, but it's still a bit unstable, even with 1.55v actual running through the chip, even with 6x multi. 6x425=2550 only. 8x400=3200, which it can do with 1.37v under load. tried vtt too.
