mine died ... :( vapo fits fine on it kinda also my mobo on the nb heat sink dose not say dark and infinity ... whats up with that :( priming killed it over night @ stock speeds ......
thats a real bummer man, sad to hear it
quick question, does anyone notice any type of vdroop on this thing, i noticed a little of vdimm droop when loading but the vcore stays steady as a rock when a load is put on, everst or the dfi monitor dont change at all from idle to load
well heres a run with my 6600 and my crucial ballistic ddr2 800 set 2x1gb
only changed the four ram timings everything else ram wise is in auto

sell me your e6600 :)
ohh no i loved this mobo i think it just got a bad one :) it worked very well for a week but i think it was a power surge in my house or my psu died my 700 ocz 1 stick of memory and the mobo all died that night
very nice so far, 1.55vmch (1.53 actual) stock nb cooler with as5

Mine will be here tomorrow, WOW I just ordered it Last night too, No need to pay any extra shipping for me ;)
i lowered vmch to 1.34 and doing 500fsb, lookin good so far i hope it holds at that voltage (i think thats even in intels specs :p: )
For those of you that changed the TIM on the NB...any tips? I had a helluva time w/ it. :(
Can you run with 4-4-4-12?
Usually u pinch the pushthrough tabs from the underside of board to make them pop out the top. Then use white spirit or alcohol based cleaner to remove previous thermal interface material and apply AS5 being aware that its electrically conductive. Artic alumina has almost the same thermal properties but is non-conductive, and u can get a bigger tube for less money.
You haven't seen the board, have you?
For me, no need to touch vMCH & VTT for 500fsb.. :D
-> heatsink on chipset was warm, compared with P5B-Dlx..

Yep, something wrong with your time, it should be way better, at least 12.7 and lower even with 5-5-5.
This is a four layer board, any additional (undue) pressure around the CPU socket or flexing can kill the board. In fact, with a Tuniq 120 on it, just applying pressure on it slightly to flex the board will result in a brown out or power down, or in one instance a kill. ;) The board is also very sensitive to the power supply being used. Still, overall, this is a really good board for the price.
Back instock @ eWiz,$149.35 though. I went ahead & ordered. I can't sit by the pc all day waiting on Newegg to get 20 in & run out before I can order:)
hmm, I guess 1066strap isn't much different than other boards like ds3 and p5b then eh?
Or to speak, those other boards aren't exactly on 1333strap. It looks like this board shares the same internal latency change going above 400 from the looks of it.
Look at memory latency at 500fsb 1:1 in that pic. I get the same on p5b. Running 400 4:5 for 500, I get in the 40's.
ive got my cellshock in right now at 4-4-4-12 and it seems to be on par with my abit quadgt, infact they are about the same as far as speed goes, this one may be a little slower but not by much
the tim or whatever it is on the NB is actually some of the hardest ive ever had to remove, kind of a pain but got it off
update also, i am pulling 12.719 for 1M pi runs with 500fsb now, i used the settings that mascaras showed us in his thread and it works really well,
it's fast but not the fastest :)
