- MCH 1.7V = 1.715V
- MCH 1.8V = 1.796V
then you set FSB to 1.5V in BIOS and your MCH is always 1.715V -> MCH 1.5V - 1.8V = 1.715V
..same issue on my P5WDH :stick:
In a post at OCXtreme, OPB recommended not to go over 1.4v for vFSB for either the P5W64 or P5WDG2 WS Pro and that is probably why :)Quote:

The 0301 bios seems fairly decent. I just wish Asus would fix the VCore issue. Selecting anything above 1.6v doesn't give you more voltage.
Is this specific to the 0301 bios because on 0215 my vCore is showing 1.67 when at 1.70 (Note: This is with a slight pencil trace).
lase any bios guide?
or seetings? for E6600 and TEAM's 800 D9...
24/7 i can't give it stable
Is the 0301 BIOS better than 0209?
0301 gave me 100mhz over 0209 with the same Vcore. I've been trying to get into the 4GHz club, I could only get 3.85GHZ and am now at 3.95GHz. I guess I'll hit 4GHz when the weather get's a little cooler!:DQuote:

can you upload the bios or something?
No, I can't. Just send me a PM with your email address.
It worked fine for me...I can email it to you..
-edit-
just noticed sierra_bound is sending it...
Cool. Gonna try it.
I hope this new bios fixes some of the stability Problems I have been having.
  :slapass: Im really pissed.... I cant get this freaking board to go past the 400FSB. I had a nice E6600...sold it thinking it was most defenately the CPU holding me back. Well guess what, same problem again with new E6600. Vcore 1.425 and vFSB 1.4 vMch 1.6. I have tried endless combos to get it above the 400FSB stable yet no luck. Ironic, i talk to the guy who bought my old E6600 he got it running @ 4.0 ghz on a gigabyte DS3 on air lol!
So to make a long story short, ive ordered other memory, the CELL SHOCK PC6400 to help me get past the 400FSB. If that doesnt help im putting this board up for sale.
Cons: CPU runs +- 10C hotter than on P5WDH, wont go past 400FSB for now and it cost me a fortune, i chose this board based on the hexus.net review, all i can say is "cherry picked" And now im off to bed to cool off :)
Give the CPU 1.5v and you will hit 400 FBS..Quote:

Only thing I would hold back on is the Vmem, depending on what memory you have..
Personally.. I have a x6800, watercooling, maxxed all the Volts in the Bois, I have stock NB, No problems with heat, and I can hit 470..
NEW BIOS!! Thank the LORD!!Quote:

Still testing it:)
Great setup there bro :D
Keep it coming!
Still the same for me. Well, memory at least. It still doesn't wanna go 0ver 540. Our mobos need more Vmem. :D

The only way you'll prolly get higher is to up the Vcore! I need 1.6 Vcore to hit 3.95GHz and it's not very stable.
Seems like multi maxed @13X...Quote:
