I'm thinking this was done on a prereleased board that has red dimm slots, using a beta bios so therefore I do not think we can be certain @ this time. I will have the board Thursday from newegg but I'm not sure I can have results up before late that night or Friday morning, as I will be off to work shortly after it arrives. Did you want 450FSB set in bios or using Guru utility?
yes I was aware of that, and I was talking about B2 stepping.Quote:

Just running stock first, gonna check out what they can do later.

Great job Tony! :toast:
:D nice to have the pros here . good job tony
It would be even better if Abit got the bios fixed. ;)Quote:

AFAIK it has Micron D9 chips, should work even better than the Gold ones.Quote:

AW9D-Max @ 14.28M
It has been asked for more times than you can imagine. :DQuote:

is there a cold boot on the board??? Like the Asus boards cause im not happy with that. everytime a bios tweak the mobo have to shut down. Bad for my components
I posted this link before but not in this topic, www.anandtech.com loves this board even it was a beta they tested : http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2829&p=7
The abit doesn't have that problem.Quote:

This is a huge plus for those running phase 24/7.
No matter how well this board clocks when it arrives, I doubt I can use it to replace my P5W DH. I have Zalman vf900's on my graphic cards and I need a pci slot for my sound card. Only choice would be to run one card & no sli which I will not do as an avid gamer with a large LCD. That said, I'm still excited to see how well this board is gonna perform.
I just placed it. Yay for free cheaping. So far better deal then eggyQuote:

The PSU does not shut down when you exit bios but that problem may arise when the 1333 strap is introduced. It may require power cycle to switch to that strap.
I hope that won't be the case, otherwise I would have bought the new ASus P5W64 instead since it clocks waaay higher out of the boxQuote:
