I have no stake in this other than a friend of mine is one of the burned and spurned. Due to recent changes in the bankruptcy law, a person is not allowed to just file bankruptcy and have his debts absolved. They are now legally required to file a repayment plan and make actual payments to their debtors. Due to the amount of laws broken in this particular case, noone would have any trouble in a court of law and honestly should pursue that. Making it a class action suit would also help considering the amount of people and the amount of money. Everyone needs to get together on some front so you can all guarantee some sort of satisfaction in this matter. Business and your personal life should never mix and it is not the consumer that should suffer in cases like this. The business must satisfy the consumer. THat is the law.

hey I understand everyone else too! I'm just saying this isn't something I anticipated. Reg did work for me in the past and was good guy. Hopefully he can get his $hit straight and get this fixed ASAP!
The constant promise of shipping and the constant lack of keeping promises basically makes this guys word worth nothing. Basically he is stalling to keep it out of the courts. Court action is long overdue and there is no other option since this guy cannot fullfill his legal contracts with people. Sure life kicks you in the balls, but business should never ever be mixed with personal issues. That is what happened here. It is not the customer's fault, and if we were talking about some other company then this thread would be only full of hate. He has had the chance of a lifetime to fix all this BS and has not. I find it incredible that this site harbors a criminal like this and makes no effort to either distance themselves or make it right. It is not XS's responsibility to do anything, but they should not allow him to promote himself here anymore as well. Anyone foolish enough to send this guy more money/business deserves it. Although I am sure that if any of his cronies did just that, they would be placed infront of all the other guys in this thread that have basically been left hung out to dry. This is fraud, plain and simple. Repeated lies about shipping is fraud. Not providing a product for monies paid is fraud. Time to do a class action suit like the one agains justin davies. That is the only way most of the guys left hanging in the wind wille ever see anything, even if it is just justice.

If you are not on either end of the situation, please stay out of the thread. At this point, the customers are out of patience (and I imagine) very frustrated by the situation. No words of wisdom will coax them through...almost all are at the point where either it gets resolved or they take legal action. Unfortunately this is the case, but that's what it has come to.
We are all looking at lots of money. If you combine our "mod" fee with our hardware -- let's say conservatively $800.00 for a new Vapo or a Mach -- We Are All Out Well Over $1K!!Quote:

I cannot afford to pay Reggies debt but can I do more to help you guys. Stand on me (in PM) if you have to, I am ok with that as I have a billion things going on.

Thanks for letting us know someone cares. It gets tough when you pay for something and wait 12+ months for your thing. In my case I wanted to complete this build and sell the machine, but it's been so long now that I will never recoup my $$$ spent. I am not bitter tho as my rig will sing once the cascade is installed. I think we all wish Reggie would keep to his promises so we know what to expect and more importantly, when to expect it. I don't want to see Reggie leave or any foul come to him. He's a decent guy that life has dealt a crappy hand to in the past year.Quote:

Very well said. I too am in the exact same situation. About a year ago I bought all of the parts for a brand new build that I was going to put together with the cascade I had bought, but have yet to see. I've since sold all of those parts, sold my main computer, bought a Macintosh and vowed not to come back to PC's but that didn't last but only about 4 months. I've finally built another rig, albeit a cheap arse rig, I've been bitten once again by the OC'in bug and would love to see this unit come through for me as I have a few things that I'd like to toss under that -100* chilly goodness :)Quote:

I have kept quiet all these while waiting and calling him. HE told me he shipped my unit and all I needed was a tracking number. Today I called him, he does not even answer the phone. I am also working with several members that you have also scammed and we have a nice sizable total dollar amount that we’re out. The officials will take this seriously due to the staggering amount of money involved; I’ve verified that with my lawyer. At this point I simply don’t believe you and I am filing charges regardless of whether or not you email me again or call me or give me any more excuses. You’re going to pay for this (when you think about it, thanks to you I’m now out $1250 not just $625), and the only way you’re getting out of this one is if my unit appears on my door before you’re on trial or I have 625 in my paypal account first. Of course, if I receive the unit, all charges will be withdrawn.

Posting pictures will do nothing to resolve this matter, nor will it stop the impending legal proceedings as they are already in motion.
I would like everyone who has been scammed by chilly1 to pm me excatly what they were scammed out of and the exact dollar value. Obviously I can't promise that I can get your stuff back but if we get the dollar value high enough they will take us seriously.
Its just been way to long he has made too many exuses every time we hear from him its the same :banana::banana::banana::banana:. I love how he says he is working 100 hours a week to get out units out and nothing gets done. I think hes just trying to hold this off till everyone gives up so we all need to just get together and sue him. I dont care if he goes bankrupt and loses everythign anymore he has proven time and time again that he doesnt care about us and he is not working on any units. Im at a point i want to see him pay for this and in a horrible way. Because its only then he will realize what he ahs done.
I will be going to Vegas around the 13th of November. Anybody will be there? I hope to get there and get my money back. I don't want the chilly1 unit when I get there, I will take the money and put it into Jinu's hands.
