Thank God and AFTER 14 days of travel, the DDR Maximizers are now in USA at TankGuys in stock......:)
Hipro...does maxi plays ok with Striker?
Or we need to unsolder the coil?
I need to know this for P5N32-E also, same board basically, here's a shot of it.

On ASUS Striker - as is - it may work and it may not......I couldn't figure out what was happening during reboots.....I had to UNSOLDER the DDR coil so as to be 100% sure that I'll be OK.....
One word.....Either Striker's Vdimm is crap OR Maxi does a GREAT job on it....:D
EDIT: This is the coil that must be removed.

Does P5WDG2 WS Pro have a similar concern as Striker?
So I have to desolder/remove that specific coil and that coil alone? I want to be very clear. Thanks.
Yeah George, you been lucky enough to get this board & test the maximiser on it yet?
All the best for the New Year m8y! :)
EXACTLY as shown in the picture above.....Desoldering that coil will do the job......You can ONLY desolder it's ONE leg though and lift it up - it's the same - ;)Quote:

Thanks for that hipro :)
So for future reference how can I tell if a board needs the choke removed or not? Is it in the way the maximizer operates or something else?
You must measure the DDR circuit of a mobo to see if any of the output Mos-Fets has a grounded leg.....If one of them has it's one leg short circuited to ground, it's safe to remove the DDR coil so as to be sure.....Quote:

DDR Maximizer doesn't work well with LANPARTY UT ICFX3200-T2R/G.
It shows current Vdimm correctly, but it cannot change the Vdimm.
LANPARTY UT ICFX3200-T2R/G has two coils near the dimm slot.

Which coil should I remove?
it's best you wait for hipro, but my bet is on the big one.
There you go.......:)

I removed the coil but the Maximizer didn't work.
It showed 1.07V or so, and didn't change whatever I do.
Try this: http://www.hipro-tech.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3 and if it still doesn't work, PM me..... :)
Sorry for reanimate this thread.... bus the Maximizer is allready updated ;)
Is there a reseller for Germany?
Will the DDR+VTT PCB work with Asus P4C800 Series?
I am just a poor student, but i will sell some things to get such a Maximizer ;)
I am intereted in a package of Maximizer with DDR+VTT PCB (if its work with my board).... later with DDR3 PCB.... i hope may current system will outlast the DDR2 era ;)
@ Hipro: thanks for your PMs.... i hope some other guys can answer my questions... so you have more time for your own stuff ;)
