i got 2 more today :toast:
CABYE 0542FPMW batch 0100 & already on 3ghz :D
CAB2E 0540FPMW batch 0143 (not tested yet)

hope one has a stronger mem controller than the FPBW to get me passed 3.1ghz stable ;)

the FPBW does 3ghz 1.5V & 3.1ghz 1.55V (both stable) but the mem controller craps out past 3.1 :(

heres the 1st test of the 146 CABYE 0542FPMW batch 0100 - 3ghz 1.55V :woot:

i have a question... in async whit my old bh5 i cant boot whit max async latncy at 7ns but boot at 9 or 8... and max preamble at 5.5ns..but boot at 6ns...

super pi 32mb whit same OS and same config but 295x10 asincro...i have passed super pi 32mb at 1.48 volt..... but prime is dont stable...

Can you count ???, how many instances do you see running, 1 or 2 :rolleyes:

If he only had one instance running then yes, he would only be using 50% of the available processing power with 50% idle, waiting to do other things, like play BF2 at the same time :p: :)

Dani thats a fine Mod.
I have nothing modded on the Board because i don´t wanna loose the Warranty.
But the Winter is bet tiem for Aircooling nice Chip you have.
That´s my 146CABNE0530APMW on Air. With An Thermalright SI120. Ambient was around 16°C.

sorry but why was he going on about how it puts both cores under 100% load and i only see 50% which means BS and tbh, that is lame for a 170 anyway :stick:

now you post one with 100% but come on, alot of these chips are doing 2.8ghz so it aint gonna fail doing 2.5ghz is it :rolleyes:

He has only highlited one instance, there should be two showing 50% each, he has shown two instances running in the background each taking 50% of available processing power :)

Also 2.55Gig is not very high but his Vcore is very low, but on average the 170's will do 2.7GHz with under 1.5Vcore which IMHO is nothing to sniff at

Check out this linky that confirms my findings :fact:

Hahaha what a load of it, now I know that your single core wont even pass @ 2.55GHz with default Vcore :slap: :rolleyes:

Stop the BS boy, just because you dont agree does not mean you have the right to call other ppls opinions and findings BS :stick: :kissbutt:

As far as I know, the stepp CABYE 0540 APMW is currently sold as a pretested by trendpc (from Germany I guess) for a frequency of 2950 @ 1.5V... Seems good, but I prefer to see good old sreenshots... :D

Tatts you know as well that CPU-Z validation counts and not what you have in your Bios Settings.Your 1,55Vc for 3.1Gh isnt amazing. Because you havew to give in your Bios
1,55 and 104% VID. that´a too much for a Screenstable or Windowsstable System!
Gonna show you 3,1Gig at 1,408Vc not Primestable but Bench and Windowsstable.On Air with iHS.

well if were going by cpu-z volts which are wrong then mine is 1.5V for 3.1ghz which is stable (not bench stable) i can bench mine @ 3.2ghz 1.55V (in bios) but why? it fails prime so isnt stable. i only ever give results which are stable & by the voltage to what i set in the bios as it is alot more accurate than any windows app, use a MM to measure your OC and i bet you it reads slightly higher than you set in the bios and nowhere near what cpu-z tells you.
head over to dfistreet, you might be suprised & even learn something ;)

p.s. show me some more 146's doing 3.1ghz stable with 1.55V or less (bios) or 1.5V in cpu-z please
