alienware uses chieftech cases, only thing they do is add the Outer shells, i got the case on ebay, i also have the regular black one :)
I think its somewhat funny that Alienware thinks that a 120.2 rad is enough for CPU, NB, SB and SLI videocards... unless you did that yourself DocEE. You might need a bigger rad.
first of all, your crazy if you actually think alienware would actually set up a system like this. the only thing that alienware setup in this whole rig is the THE CASE, and i bought the case off of EBAY auction..
the whole pcs itself is set up by myself, and yes a 120.2 RAD is more than enough for this set up, a 2nd rad does not improve the temps. check my temps and benches in the rest of the forum :).
my cpu is at 3.6 24/7 temps full load @ 33deg (closed case) vid cards @ 40 deg with OC @ 650/1005,

Bundymania,
That is one awesome looking setup. Lian Li PC-G70B is one of my favorite cases.
very nice, who done the art work on the case it is beautiful.
thx for your comments guys ! :)
i dunno the correct translation yet, but i think you know what i mean, with "food color" (cake decoration etc.) for the red effect in my sys. i use 10ml for this cherry red with dest. water and innovatek protect anti-corro stuff.

good system DocEE...nice hardware & nice assembly
ty Noel82 for your comments, to sacha35 the artwork was factory made by alienware for the star wars desktops they sold. and well the lame thing is that its not artwork. its just a HUGE sticker that goes on the panels, LOL

nice system u got there DocEE
and very very bad to know that it is just a sticker
and i am really amazed to know that a dual rad is enough for ur very restrictive and big loop
i had the similar system before with an alienware case as well. a8n-sli prem, 3800x2, SLI 7900gtx, and the cpu (apogee) and vid cards were cooled (DD NV-78) and with this case since its very restrictive the temps do go up when all closed but with the WC its no problem, and with this rig before i mounted everyting i ran initial tests with the full loop, NB,SB, vid cards, cpu, and temps were fine outside, and when inside temps are still excelent in the CLOSED case, trying to figure out though how to get more air moving inside the case,
ty for your comments, need ideas of how to get some FRESH air into it, :)

Still working on it... :D

What's that plexiglass looking mod that you put on top of your topmost video card? Does anyone know if that's a purchasable mod or do you have to do it yourself (if so, how do I get started!?) That looks like an awesome way to make it look good and protect yourself from possible leaks!
What'd you change, jakup? Is that a Swiftech MCW6500 TEC or whatever on your CPU? And what case is that? Looks good for WC'ing.
The case looks like a Lian Li G70, might not be, but I think it is. And yea, he's using the 6500 block (which has 5 times more restriction than a STORM!!!! lol I guess performance is everything). http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...60#post2099360 that's it.
Oh, okay. I missed his sig somehow, but it's a Lian-Li G75B.
Ranker,
Where did you find the fan grill that covers all 4 fans at the top of the case?
I've been looking for one and so far no success.
Thanks
There is 3 fans there, and it's a Radgrill.
