you dont need an exif viewer Xien,,, as its been said many times, just right click the image while its on your pc and go to properties, and then click the details tab.
not sure how people have neglected to use the most basic of windows functions... file properties..
i finally had some free time to go out and shoot, maybe skipped multivariable calculus to do so :wasntme:

M42 50mm ? looks like the helios maybe? but those are 58mm
glad to see someone else jumping on the M42 + Canon bandwagon.
it really makes you learn about exposure manual focusing, etc.
i dont prefer them, but i sure as he|| love using them.
Nice shots, Weevil and Ripken, Xien - enjoy that new camera.
Just boring ol' computer build shots these days:

Computer shot are never boring.
Whatcha putting those in?
with that much cable, i'd say he is running wire around his house!

Tamron SP AF 10-24mm 3.5-4.5 Di II
nothing special with this shot but i love its close up abilities and how it stretches the subject.

That will be so good looking on a city scape roof like you said. You just made that laptop look so insane. Looking forward to it! :)
Lestat - I have that tamron lens. i use it mostly for landscape shots, it's pretty good :)
you won't like the stretching all that much at times... the lens has really killed some group shots i've taken.
Yes - I will of cause enjoy it :D
Everyone has M42 and it is really great to see the difference between them.
With 90% of my pictures I did everything by hand on my PS SX110 (no AF, no autoexposure, nearly allways used f/2,5...) so why sholdn't I use this old treasure first :D
you bet man i love the M42 lenses i have. i have a couple of decent pentax-k mount lenses too.
had a nice tokina 28-70 SZ-X 270 Pentax-K off ebay coming to me but good ol USPS lost it between here and new york.... i read some good things about that short zoom.
i have some M42 stuff for sale right here under General Hardware, check them out. and i have some more to post too.
i am still thinking of getting one of the russian Jupter-9 85mm F/2 lenses.
here is another shot using one of Kevin Wang's custom Canon Picture Styles.
i think this was '300' again. (i really like the effect of that picture style, its just rather light sensative to get the full effect)

Pretty good for kit lens.. they have "macro" MFD?

I don't know, but they do close pretty closely.
I was pretty close to the butterfly, which was not at all shy and was very camera friendly. ;).

here's one from our strobist meetup today, it was quite fun but i think we were just one too many. we didn't really get a chance to get the settings right. anyways, i didn't get the focus right on this picture but i like how the model posed so i'm sharing it :D
