EVA, 3.9GHz @ 1.344v seems a bit too high for a D0. I've seen most of them getting 4GHz+ on about 1.25v. Have you tried lowering that voltage?
I got 4GHz (20x200) on my C0 at 1.3750v (BIOS) and 1.344v (CPU-Z idle). That was with HT off.

Looks like indeed vcore was a HyperPi 8x 32MB test related as I ran the following 4000Mhz at 1.312v (haven't tried lower vcore yet) without problems
Powermate wattage meter system power draw from wall in bold.
- 1hr Prime95 Small FFTs (~533W - 544W)
- 1hr Prime95 Custom Blend 5400MB memory allocated (~550W - 562W)
- LinX 0.5.8.2 10 pass with 768MB allocated (what most folks incorrectly use instead of all memory test) (~562W - 570W)
- LinX 0.5.8.2 10 pass with ALL memory allocated (~565W - 572W)

But yeah it ain't near any of the good D0 results heh
I have a D0, sadly it's marked Intel Confidential so I can't say more until the NDA lifts at the end of the month.
 Hi!
Does anyone have a i7 920 whit GSKILL 6GB 2000MHZ TRIDENT (CL9) on a Asus P6T Deluxe, i can`t even boot whit this memorys.
Whit my old memory, Corsair 1600, i have 920-3800-> corsair 8.8.8.24@7.7.7.20->OK.
Can someone help me, please??
Ty
PS-> Sorry my Bad English.
It really depends on your CPU and its integrated memory controller.
Try raising the VTT voltage, it should help.
hi guys, I havent posted in this thread for a while. I've just been working on ramping up my ram speed lately. This rig crunches 24/7 so what do you'll think of these settings? THey are a bit conservative so that my Elec. bill does not eat me alive

New personal record for my batch B027, 5279 Mhz. 1.389 Vcore

also, a screen of a 5195 superpi run and a 5006 Mhz 3DM06 complettion , all at 1.389 vcore
very good job roller, what are you using to cool it? THats a heck of a clock.
Here is what I ended up with after testing, W3520/760/Corsair GT cas 8 6Gb, and 2-Sapphire 4870x2 with Swiftech Caldera water blocks with modded bios no volt mods. Most of these where done on the OCZ Cyro Z but I did try the F1 Kingpin pot once I seem to have a coldbug around -68c so not much better scores or clocks than the SS. This is Windows 7 64 bit RC1 no tweaks...

With water cooling, I have a couple SSDs coming to try to improve PCMark

very sweet benches, thanks for posting your results.
love that CPU speed for the W3520, oh so sweet!
thanks road runner, lovely clocks on that Xeon  Did you forget to run any bench mark  Good job!
How did you get AM3 to run properly in Win 7?
I didnt, sorry about that AM3 and 3DM01 are in XP. The rest is win7 but you should be able to get it to run with the patch, scores will be less or it was when I tried it in Vista64... http://www.geocities.com/superxpfx/A...Bit_Patch.html

A validation is one thing, but you're running demanding apps at high clocks...great job!
Also, you mentioned 'cold bug'. What does that mean, how does it manifest itself?
ok, this 100% stable for me:
core I7 920 D0 cpu stepping: 3849A846
Asus P6T deluxe (V1) with bios 1504
12GB of Patriot Viper (6x2g)
water cooled with Dtek Fuzion 2 WB
single GTX 285 with DD Gtx 285 WB

Road Runner...
When cold bug caused no reboot, how did you fix? Did you just wait for it to warm up? Also, were the status LEDs dark, or some error code?
Yea I just waited a few minutes, kept pushing the reset button as it warmed up until it come on. LEDs status was hung on FF if I remember correctly. I already new there was a good chance of cold bug as I have read plenty about it and had the same problem on my Gigabyte board the first time I used LN2. I learned from the first time to take the temps down slowly instead of dumping LN2 in until it was down to -180. May not be the right way but I am new to LN2...
Road,
Another question....when ppl are showing thermometers at like -87C and such, are they putting their probe at the bottom of their pot? Or are they somehow measuring the top of the CPU heatspreader?
roller, these are some good questions you are answering. I have been trying for a while to find my way into extreme cooling so these are things I would like to know. Thanks
...and thank you roadrunner for the answers :)
I dont know how others do it, I just took a screw driver and stuck it in between the insulation and the F1 to pull the insulation away for a minute to shove the wire down in there as far as I could. On the SS I ran in through the eraser and had it laying on that lower part of the heat spreader, I am new at sub zero cooling though...
