This is the L807A I have running at 3 Ghz on 1.2875 in the bios. I had it up to 3.6 on 1.4125 running prime without a problem. The motherboard I have (P5Q Deluxe) has a very immature bios and keeps loosing the settings. I hope this info helps. As soon as a new bios pops out for this board I'm going to try to get that 3.6 Ghz.

I got 3.42 at 1.3125
and 3.6 at 1.425
I'll take the 3.42 at 3.125 and call it a day because 3.6 is TOO HOT!!!
Wow, I am really pissed off, my chip needs 1.504v LOAD to do 3.6GHz, and 1.448v to do 3.5GHz... I even picked an L733, though now I suspect that it's a repack.
Back from christmas time my G0 under air, looking forward to getting my new MF2 see how much futher I can push after my P5K-E gave in :)

what kind of air cooling do you have and whats the ambient??? 54C load 4.02ghz @ 1.536V thats insane!

Would an Ultra-120 Extreme do a better cooling job or should I go for a WC setup?
I hate all you guys...
My chip can't make it to 3.875GHz before the board gives out... (1.8000v BIOS)...
Because of this, my 3dmark06 score is 19,447.
I envy all you guys, especially those with L808s... I even hand-picked a L733B, but 1.3125VID ARRRGGGGHHH.....
Where'd you all buy your L808s?
Just wanted to add my new chip to the thread as I didn't see the marking listed. I got the chip this week and is marked L804B159 and packed on 3/19/08. The chip has a VID of 1.275V which is great :D.
As far as overclocking, I think I am severely limited by my old board, a P5W DH where I can't get much stability at all with high FSB settings .
I Bought my new upgrade today.

G.SKILL 4GB PQ

some people say the L80 chips are bad overclockers, is that right ? i'm always unlucky even when i baught amd 3000+ few years ago, couldn't even do better than 2.5 @ 1.7v (still alive since 2 years, it suppose to be dead)!
I got a new L743A... VID 1.2125v. She shut down the first time because I didn't have cooler mounted right DOH....
I'm testing 3.6GHz 1.33v right now... I don't know if she can go lower.
Here's my specs:
Stepping: G0
Batch: L720B066
VID: 1.2625
Pack date: 8/3/07
I'm new here, looking forward to learning more.
Here's my best vcore, sorry i forgot to run prime 95. But it played supreme commander for a quiet a while. I know its not the best. I'm going to try for lower on day :)

Just got my new Q6600 L807A420 Vid : 1.240V
Only has a stock cooler yet soo i dont wanna push it too far with this cooler, had it up`n runnin on 333X9 for an hour on OCCT, My temps reached 70C soo Occt auto stopped the burn in soo i cant wait too try this chip out when my new Zalman comes in a couple of days =)
Hope i can get it too 3.6 on air
Any1 wondrin where to get one of theese? Try w w w . k o m p l e t t . n o
Its a norwegian site with 100+ L807A`s for sale =)
Mine refuses to do 3.6 without ridiculous voltage (close to 1.6). And it easily has the cooling to do it, under small on Prime, it doesn't get over 64 degrees at 3.6. But it isn't stable for more than 5 or 10 minutes. It's been stable at 3.43 for two days now, but....... Wish it would do 3.6.
Take the chip back and do what I did... I replaced a 1.3125VID with a 1.2125VID.
3.6GHz @ 1.514v vs 3.6GHz @ 1.33v
Mine needs 1.5875v in the BIOS to get stable at 3.8Ghz. But it looks like about 1.56v real once in Windows. Everyone always warns about going above 'xyz' voltage, but some chips just need/like the voltage I guess, mine being one of them. It would be cool to run 1.46v at 3.8Ghz like some here, but mine seems to like to run hard and fast.
Just for reference :)
True, I am still a little skittish about running at 1.5875v (BIOS). I am not saying "go for it!"...more so just making an observation. I am sure if I were to buy another g0 q6600 it would probably not hit what I was able to hit with this one. Luck of the draw I guess.

400x9 (3.6ghz) 1.425v in bios. with loadline calibration enabled, voltage reads at 1.408v idle, 1.376v at full load. also bumped nb voltage +0.15v, sb voltage +0.1v. memory on 2.50B (4:5) at DDR2 1000 5-5-5-15 2.1v. temps are 51c 49c 49c 51c at 100% load. its 9 hours prime95 stable, but im an idiot and didnt get a screen cap before i closed prime >.< ill do another run when i go to bed so i can give ya'll an actual picture to look at.
