open "Settings" file of coretemp and set :
TjMaxOffset=-10
save and thats it.
Thanx, 1.208 to be more precise ..this weekend I'll be benching it, I'll post later

nice oc guys
Is Prime blend just as good for testing stability compared to cpu only ?
thats mine and now he is acting like crazy :/ unstable @ 4Ghz stable @ 4.2Ghz :D
http://www.outofspecs.gr/forum/showp...4&postcount=43
and here is a Pi

Darkatom i thing blend is not for testing the cpu you wont get the 100% load an i thing blend is stressing the first core only ( i might saying Bal#$%#hit tho :p )
for the cpu you have to use small fft,
Blend gets it all, but I prefer Orthos small, Crysis, NOD32, and standby. If it comes back, it's probably good to go.
I'm up to 4140 now. Just got back from a LAN and it held up like a champ. Def glad I got a chance to check out VID @ Fry's before purchase.
Intel E8400, MSI X48c Platinum, OCZ Flex II 2x2 Gb.
500 Mhz FSB, 5:6 ram divider, 1200 Mhz clock, 5-5-5-15 @ 2.15v, 8.5 CPU multiplier, 4.25 Ghz, 1.35v 55 degrees max.
http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...exII1200-2.png
All on air, and whisper silent too.
I wonder how much higher I can go
The CPU only goes up to 55 degrees @ 4.25 Ghz now. I applied my thermal paste perfectly this time around for once XD.
Going for 4.5 Ghz next.
Wow thats got to be the best E8400 here,, damn I am jealous now
And the FlexII clocking really good.
Sorry, I should have mentioned its at 1.35v, its not that spectacular XD
4.5 Ghz and 1.4v crashes my PC :(
So its not really that good.
Ignore the Orthos and MSI DCC clock speeds of course, they dont detect the multiplier.
Nice Clocks M8...
BTW i cant reach 1200 DDR like you...
What temps did you get on 1.4 Vcore ?
Here is mine OC at ~ 4240 Mhz...
http://www.imageshack.gr/files/31v7sy5xmlxjznrscqdz.jpg
I havnt ran it at 1.4v becase it didnt boot up :) I havnt tried 1.4v at 4.25 Ghz because 1.35 is enough.
If you read my trolling through all the threads on the OCZ Flex II, you will see that they are difficult to overclock. Mine didnt even reach 1000 Mhz out of the box, I had to start at 800 Mhz and increase it by 33 Mhz at a time, and when I get over 1000 Mhz there were stability problems at first, but the ram gradually gets used to it after lots of stressing and works.
After I recovered from my 4.5 Ghz disaster, my ram went back to erroring in Super PI and Orthos at 1200 Mhz even at 2.25v, so I have had to drop my FSB down to 480 Mhz and have to increase it slowly again while burning the ram somemore.
Once you manage to hit stable at 1200 Mhz, it stays put untill your next overclocking disaster, then you need to start from 1150 Mhz all over again.
I'm currently back to stressing them at 1166 Mhz. My pair do 1125 Mhz on 2.0v, 1166 Mhx on 2.1v, and 1200 Mhz on 2.15v after stressing.
And then trying to OC my CPU more killed it XD. I'm trying to get back to the settings in my sig and will leave it there now.

VID 1.2125
stable was @ 4250 Mhz 8.5 x 500 with 1.41Vcore 1.23Vtt
could do 3.8 @ 1.2Volt 1.1 Vtt ( stock )
now i 'am testing with 9.5 multiplier
the board is the abit Ip 35 Pro MAX Fsb is 540Mhz with that board :(
Rams : team Group Xtreme 1200 5-5-5-15 Can do 1200 @ 4-4-4-4 so no rams stability problems but the board does not like tight straps :/
custom water for cooling ( Cpu - Chipset - Vga )
this is what i got now with the 9.5 multiplier
http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/3...zstablemt8.jpg
here was stable with 8 Multiplier Yes it needs more Vcore with lower Multi :D don't know why :(

^^^ pretty good!!! LIN or Dry ice!?
Putting my money on dry ice.
LOL, a quick test indeed loc.o!
Great result!
core temp says 1.1 real temps says 1.2125 :D
i just took real temp's reading as valid cause it reads higher temps :/ just to be sure :p
These Q807 perform really well as I can see.
Friend from forum has one, and goes on 4.9GHz, on water.
I've got Q739, currently stuck at ~4.6GHz :(

i want down my vcore.. its high? or its good vcore?
with this vcore can i up my FSB/MHZ?
thank you
update
E8500 @ 4218Mhz 1.37Vcore ( Bios ) 1.42Vcore ( cpu z ) 1.36Vcore ( multimeter ) i believe my multimeter....

Custom water ( Cpu, Vga, Chipset ) don't say anything about the temps i'am still with one dual 120 rad...
as for the graphics, the ss is from tight vnc i'm @ work now

Coretemp says my q813A 8400 is 1.1125 vid. How does that stack up with other e8400s? My playing around with it to find my max 24hr oc right now.
edit: I'm priming 4.2ghz now at 1.312volts. It's weird sometimes coretemp see this cpu 1.1000vid.
Here is a ss. I have another one same exact batch and pack date too. LOL what are teh chances. How would you guys rate this cpu guys?

It's not a golden one mate (4ghz at 1.2volts), but it's one of the better ones, most do only 4ghz around 1.3Vcore and higher under load, if you can do 4.2 at 1.31 you got a good chance to go 1.26 or such for 4ghz...
I use mine at 4ghz at 1.26Vcore, never bothered to try higher as my Striker board get's itchy then...
Can I have the full batch plz to add to the OC list plz...
