Could be that in BIOS that you need to re-set the IDE config back to RAID, happened with me. But the RAID itself is not lost. After the BOIS-upgrade, I get "OC checksum failure" and all settings are back to default. That's why you'll need to reconfigure all BIOS settings - annoying but no loss of RAID (or data).Quote:

When i sended the mobo to RMA, iv get back to my old system(MSI 915G + P4 520) and it works fine there.
With the new P5B received from RMA the same problem happens. No TV-Out with the same driver. Already tryed another drivers and nothing...
Thanks for the reply :), i know there is right in the middle of the new bios release.
Ill check when i get home, thanks.Quote:

What could be the problem?
Using a soniq tower here:mad:

I've put the cpu on default with default clocks and volts:

What could this be, please help
if you are seeing 26% cpu usage on your friend's quad core cpu and you see 90% cpu usage on your dual core for the same nero action then i would think that the Nero load is being distributed equally across all four cores!...less cpu usage doing a task is a good thing so it will allow the user to do more multi-tasking while handling the Nero record...

If so try disabling it, it is known to screw up temp reading.

I didn't even have double boot issue with 0804. I think my configuration doesn't require the bootstrap to be changed.Quote:

What do you guys think about the OCZ Platinum XTC DDR-800 to be match with the P5B Deluxe and E6400? Is any other bran/speed memory with a good price performance that you would recommend??
Tks,
4. It is needed to load RAID drivers for SATA discs, during windows install even if RAID systems will not be utilizied, or a single disc is used, to be able to use full benefits of AHCI. This can be done in 3 ways :Quote:

c) If you have allready setup your instalation of Windows without using the first 2 methods. Instead of reinstalling the system, go to device manager and update the ide controller that's connected to SATA drive. Make sure you force it to select “Intel® 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller”. Restart, and go into BIOS before Windows starts and change 'RAID/ATA' option to 'RAID/AHCI'. Boot into Wndows.
This is for non raid users!
i have the PCIe issue even i use an NVidia card....
Well, iv found my problem...ME!
Yep, i'm a real noob and did the very same mistake on 2 P5B.
I didnt use the screw to hold down the Vga, so.
Iv played BF2 and CSS with no problems, just the tv-out... wtf.
Romano, ... so?
Askimo, what is a good price for you?
Check(here on the forum) the on-line deals and etc...
the issue is not only for Ati card...
This was found out earlier:Quote:

Yes, but mostly happens with ATI cards. Or perhaps we can put it this way : most of ppl reporting problem, are using ATI based GPUs. :fact:Quote:
