Looks good MeatFrog.:toast:Quote:

Looks like it rivals my 170, but even better load temps
And the Dual PI screen.
Just a hint, Super PI 1M is useless for stability testing.
my Opteron 144 will run super pi 1m @ 2950mhz w/1.575v, but its only prime stable @ 2830
At those settings my CPU is 100% stable, SuperPI, Prime, games, whatever.I`m playing COD2, FEAR and NFSMW for 4 days now and not a problem. At 3170 Mhz I dont know if it is stable, i just tested SuperPi.
Well, I'd never beleive anyone unless they were showing prime.
lol apparently you missed his screenshot of dual prime at 3.0 Ghz with 1.4v a few posts up
Oops :D
But thats only 30m , I often crap out between 30 and 60 min.
I have alsost just received my 0550VPMW from flickerdown (thanks), and I must say I am quite satisfied so far. Fired it up to 2.8GHz at once with vcore at auto.
I have run some test, SuperPI, 3dmark01/03/05/06 and seems stable at 2.8GHz.
Have too say these 0550's are quite hot chips, I have 38C as idle temp on CPU, with "low-end" WC. And it reaches about 47-48 on 100% load.
The 3GHz SS is not stable at all couldn't even dual superpi 1MB, hope to tweak it stable..
3GHz Dual SuperPI 32M Finished! Load temp maxed out around 51-52.

Hey Meatfrog, congrats on 3Ghz dual core club ;)
Thanks! It's no golden chip like yours but it's for sure better than a lot of others out there. :) This chip would have some real potential if it didn't have such a weak core 0. :(Quote:

But I believe my temps are too high aswell. With WC the CPU hits 49-50C with 1.45V!
Anyone who got some tweaks that may help getting Core0 stronger ?
Just ordered coolit freezone peltiers water cooler, 3ghz soon!
Yeah dudes, if you've got 3 Ghz dual core power, you should really be contributing it to Rosetta. Unless you literally game ALL day long.. those 3 Ghz cores are gonna go to waste without keeping them loaded!
Might i add, it's a good way to burn in too :)
Hey, I might be willing to dedicate my old machine to the effort: Northwood 2.8ghz, RADEON X800Pro, 1.5GB value RAM...
How much of a bandwidth hog is R@H?
I could prime for hours, and then D2oL would hang the machine after a few hours.
The same settings for D2oL stable would hang the machine again after a few hours of R@H. So R@H is a great stability test as well as burnin tool. Work your Integer and FPU units and your memctlr all @ once!
I started MikeEpc chip @ 2.85 Ghz -> now 2.95 Ghz. Next week 3.0 Ghz, the OC gods willing :D.
Oh yes both chips sit @ 38-39c under load:
WC - PA160, mcp655, storms (G4 in the basement, G5 up here). MikeEpc (V2000) is in the WC gallery. Oppo(sition)Cruncher (V1000) will get some pics up soon.

@ Startup it D/Ls a boatload of stuff to work on (about 2-4 hrs).Go check the forum out :D Then it is okay. Want to join in the fun and help us Trash-talk LBM back where they need to be (3rd place :hehe: )?
When you are ready, do what it says in my sig

Yes, u did mention it to me, but i didnt remember that when i dropped the HTT multi, LOL. Core0 has now passed prime95 Custom 8-4096 FFT's for over 14hrs @ 3Ghz, but running byitself. Ive just got out of bed and have fired core1 up to see when i will get a failure. If i can get passed a few hours with no failure than I am calling quite on the priming action and will be moving onto some gaming before finally saying if i have a 3Ghz duallieQuote:

:D
Again i am seeing peeps post here how core0 is weaker than core1, this is how i have strengthened my core0. I have been running core0 by itself under load with CPU-Burn in for over 10hrs, then running prime95 straight after. When prime95 fails. I turn off the computer for a few hours, then start it up again, and then repeat the procedure. Once i get core0 stable for at least a few hours with prime95, I fire up core1 with prime95, but run core0 with CPU-Burn in, again for a number of hours. After that i try to run both cores together with dual prime.
I am this stage right now, yesterday when i posted i was doing my first real dual prime attempts, and core0 failed after 2hrs 45 min. So i fired up core0 by itself again, and it failed after 3hrs, I agian fired it up again, and it has been priming till this morning. I now have both core running in tandem.
Hope this helps
Lol.. this is what I call stability! Anyone else who has run SP2004 for this long?? Some kind of bug i suppose..
The date was wrong on my computer when I started SP2004, so i adjusted it while SP2004 was running, this made the duation jump!
This is actually a really nice way of cheating the SP2004!
