My P5WD2 makes 390 easily, but 955 chipset is not designed for Conroe. I'm not saying that it will not work, but we may hit some limitations, like lower FSB or something else. I'd prefer to buy a specifically designed for Conroe mobo and make that CPU cry under some ice :pimp:

ok that's it. amd can pack it's bags :) 3Ghz passive stock vcore. i dont see amd doing that by the end of this year.

975X chipset already has support for 1333FSB. 985 is a rumor at this point. Conroe is real.

but nVidia has announced their 500 chipset Series with Conroe support. maybe they will go over 250 FSB now :lol:

Will be hard to have Conroe support if you can't go past 250FSB :D

Yea my friend also just mentioned he has not seen the 985 chipset on any lates Intel roadmaps. Oh well there are some good 975x out :toast:

wow. awesome conroe results. a friend of mine has been telling me to switch over to the godly intels, but if i saw a few more results like this....i might be tempted :D
