anyone did discover any problem with networking with this board?
My board with a huge load on downloading would provoke disconnect or suspens my internet connection. Though my connection's status is always active but to make it really active, i did have to reactive it by deactivating it then activate it.
Hybrid had LAN problems too with his board, he switched to a DFI RDX200 tho' so i don't think he has a solution for you.Quote:

The sad part is that we, as budget consumers, have to rely on this board as it is the only decent crossfire board that is priced at around ~$100. I personally am not looking for the crossfire support but the price of the supposed "Mainstream Rocket" was extremely enticing. Also considering I want a relatively quiet computer, the silent nb and lack of overheating issues when overclocking (like nf4 board) with the northbridge would have persuaded me to buy this board but alas, Asus f(_)cked up. I just wish the DFIs were passive!!!
I'll just wait for a RD580 or hope that the AT8 if and when it even comes out will be decent enuf to allow vcore options, be stable, and allow htt frequency up to 300 and keep memory stable at 1T at AT LEAST 250mhz.

i've been emailing with Wes over at AT and he says a lot of people are doing 1:1 250HTT 1T with no problems. why is it that most people here at xtreme can't seem to do it?

In defence of AT, there was one individual, however, who was able to hit 325htt and at 1T stable. Though this is only one case and he didn't show proof of it, he seemed like a person you could trust but nonetheless, one most give AT the benefit of the doubt that they got a cherry picked board. You can't blame them because their sample was so damn good. I blame ASUS.

I am always concerned about whether I receive a "cherry" board - which is always a risk if you review before retail availability. For the future we will be buying retail boards to confirm/refute our test results and report what we find.
At least its good to hear they will be testing their received boards with retail boards.

Does anyone have a Vdimm for this board? Maybe even just a simple "Koysen" type mod where you just hardwire the 3.3v line to the Vdimm?
I've maxed out my cpu at 10 x 302 Mhz with the board. My main problem is that I can't get memory at 1:1 1T above 234 Mhz. On the other end, I can run at 300 Mhz 1:1 2T with 3-4-3-8 timings. Should I use 1:1 or a divider?
They need to get rid of the 2t issue also

Another problem is about memory timings, using manual setting for TCCD @ 200 MHz (KHX3200ULK2/1G) CL2-2-2-5 1T, in CPU-Z and Memory timing information in BIOS shows CL2-3-3-7 :slapass: . It also happen when using KHX Winbond BH-5. Hope ASUS will release the new BIOS soon to solve this problem
