I have try to reach 250 with 3.3V (3.2V and using my OCZ powerStream to rail up the +3.3V line), but i got a couple of errors (around 10) per pass (test number 5 memtest86).

I thinks is because of the bios and the latencies, not because of the mem. I tried TREF 3684 and 3120, Drive Strenght at Level5 also and Cycle Limit 256 too. Didn´t help at all. Also its wear that using oranje slots i got 2-3 less errors.

so any idea???

I dont know, with my OCZ El Plat rev2 TCCD y could do 300x9 1:1 :rolleyes: , so i don´t think so.

I will try again and also maybe some burn in..

By the way, what bios do you recommend me??

-Idle Cycle Limit, only if i set it at 16 it works, if i set it at 256 give me a hundred of errors :roll: :confused: . Also tried 008 and 004 with thousends of errors.
-Finally was able to set Drive Strenght to level 8 and the Data one to level 2

Tomorrow i will try more, now i am tired (4am in Madrid)

Woops I forgot MBM in screen, I assure you all that I am using only 3.30v. :) I do not lie, and only post stable clocks. I will be posting 3Dmark and SuperPI 32M results later anyway so you can see proofe then. :fact:

SO bios 704-2 (i can see it in your signture), which slots???

Maybe is time to change to a SanDiego 3700+ :roll: for better mem controller :stick:

using yellow slots, as I can cool ram better with those, orange is too close to Freezer64. But this bios is just amozing how good it is. I takes less volts to do equal clocks with my old bH-5, which I must say are exactly identical to my gskill GH. Infact to setup GH, I just removed HyperX and inserted GH and booted up, stable as. Well as close as possible as theis crappy board can do to stable. CSS and other games don't work (board is faulty I think), 3DMark's are fine though.

Just a heads up for you guys using 704 you need to becareful. Oscar Wu has reported it having voltage problems and asked it be removed. Read about it here http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16500

i have a problem with this mem i cant get to go at least 250mhz it only stable at 240 no matter what voltage or timmings . i put heatsinks on them i have a 115cfm fan on them also .i know its rated for 3200 but reviews like this and across the web getting 260-275 helped me buy them. i want to send them back but can i return to gkill for a better pair

try each stick independently

i did try that to see which one was the stronger stick but they both react the same

My GH max out at 250 whatever volts . I can only push it higher at 258 by change Cas to 2.5 , so bus 258 2.5-2-2-2 at 3.6v :rolleyes: , i mean it 's stable :ROTF:

not all mem will oc the same

just b/c a reviewer or someone on a forum gets super high doesn't mean u will. could be your cpu. your board or yoyr skillz. why should it cost G.Skill $$$ when you got alot more than you paid for????

What do I need to do to disable 32 Byte Granulation ?

My board automatically enables it and it also doesn't have an option to disable it in BIOS, so when I disable it using A64 Tweaker my system automatically freezes or BSODs...

I've seen this setting has slight influence on bandwidth/stability and I know my GH can handle it so it would be nice to have this setting disabled... these are my settings :

just got a pair 2day, reached 265mhz 1,5-2-2-5 - 9 - 10 ;)

But got better results using 1,5-2-2-5 - 10 - 14 in SPI quite some difference actually..

Hmm another thing... Tref at 133mhz 7.8us gives me one heck of a bost, gained 1,4 secs !?!? Compared with 200 1,9xus...

Futher I gained lots by using 0 clk in Idle cycle limit - compared with 256..

I just found out it is only when i have them in dual channel.
Alone they botj do 250 3,3v wihout to much testing. Anybody knows why they are not stable in dual channel? Or must i open a new threat?

The bios for the nF4 DFI boards are can be picky with certain types of ram. Try updating bios to newest date, and then try -1, -2 and -3 and see which one seems to work the best.

Also, Try switching from Orange slots to yellow slots or visa-versa to see if you can get dual channel running smoothly.

My mem just did 9 hours of prime95, stable at 250mhz in dual-channel. But in memtest it gives errors.. So i think there is the problem. My memtest is corrupted or something..
