I depends on what they mean by load. Super-pi / 3dmark load, or Prime SmallFFT. Big difference there.

Redgoo OK. I cant say i like this. Seems some of the cores were scrapped as 4000/FX due to problems with the mem controller, and not only poor OCing and bad cache.

Im thinking of getting another one, but if Venice hits the stores in a couple of weeks i might wait. Im getting tired of buying new chips all the time just to get a good one.

Did some math the other day. Found out how much I have spent on AMD CPUs since the Tbreds came. Should be enough to make me eligible to a Chirstmas card and a free FX55 :p:

I have the same code, week and this is what I got. :)

BTW no screenie but got it prime stable at 3G, 1.8 vcore

with water temp 4C.

Also, I can get it prime stable at 2.8G with 1.55 vcore at water temp 20C :)

You might wanna try some better water cooling.

Max prime stable 2750Mhz 1.6v and Max super pi is 2850Mhz 1.65v

This chip is walking all over my BigWater setup. At 2750Mhz 1.75v I get 68-70c load with a water temp of ~40c.
Think I need to hook up my ProCore / MXC6000 / Eheim instead. Im not even gonna bother mounting my CPU Cooler on this crappy thing.

Okay.. 2800-2850 for benching isnt too bad.. however what really IS bad, is that it wont run RAM higher than 245-250 if CPU is at 2400Mhz or more.

Also.. it refuses to run Trtw and Twtr 1 any higher than 240.

Thats just my luck. When i finally get a chip that OCs OK, the mem controller is FUBAR.

I'm thinking of getting another one too, lol. I'm probably going to wait until some more results are posted before I make that decision though ... maybe we're just unlucky?

295. My OCZ Rev.2 TCCD ram is pulling me back.

But I still think HTT 295 with 2.5-3-3-5 is nice enough for me though. :)

Havn't tried with lossened timings yet,

but I think I'll be able to take it up more :)

Well that could explain it then again DFI boards even under load the sensor reports same load temp @2600-2800mhz at 1.6v

the mem controller on my CAA2Cs are nice on DFI NF4 SLI-D 2x 256MB XMS3500C2v1.1 @275mhz 2-2-2-6 1T 7-14-2212 16x 7x 7ns 5ns at 3.7v

No that's just silly. When FX-55's were released there were ZC and 2C's floating around too. I thought I wanted a ZC then, and got a 2C. Now, with these, I got a ZC...no question, ZC. In fact, if you search here, you can find pics of both ZC and 2C FX chips I bet, I know for a fact back then I saw a ZC photo here.

What screenie are you looking for? I posted a cpu-z screen, do you want CBBID, Sandra? Just let me know.

hmm i wouldnt recomend anyone to ruch out and buy one, if they wanna bench 2001se. 1mb cahce stomps 512k, 200mhz PR difference as well as 100-150mhz becasue 2001 loves cache. a 2.6ghz claw can get 30k with a x800xtpe

but they look better than most 939 chips, if u cant afford an FX

A picture of the cpu itself if there are ZC's then they must be earlier steppings than the 2C's

That could well be that they are earlier. I'm smacking myself atm, I almost took a pic before putting it under the evap, but based on the posts in this thread I didn't think it was worth doing.

How do you guys do it? How do you get 2.6ghz, stable at stock volts? I can't even get 2.5ghz stable at stock. I can' boot into windows at 2.6ghz under 1.55v. I'm pissed, I always get the CPUs that don't want to OC. I've got the HTT at 3x, AGP is at 67, spread spectrum disabled, speed step disabled, am I missing something or is my CPU just a poor OCer?
