As far as 925XE, we have no plan to phase in this model yet, as demand for such platform is very small.

Just like they said, even though most of us will never do these things, it's still fun to read about.
the pci-e don't give problems with overclockin?this new chipset mobo can reach easly 350 of fsb?it have yet the stupid overclock lock?
i can't find this mobo,i'm only able to find a dfi with the 925X chipset...the 925xe is very much better than the 925x?or they are similiar?
Read the entire thread. DFI has said that they probably wont put this board out because there wouldnt be a demand for it. :(Quote:

I would be happy to clear that up.
DFI has already confirmed shipments of more samples inbound. I will have them confirm parts in production.
thanks FUGGER, I would think taht the board that holds the world record would atleast me it to production. I guess all the hype now is dual core. Any ideas floating around of a FUGGER edition?

Pretty good ;)
The x seems to be limited to 299 FSB, the 4:5 ratio works fine.
Hard to say with PLL app how far the XE will go.
Pats, cute avatar.
does a 925X flashed with a 925XE bios could go above 300 fsb ?
I havent tried.
could you try ? I think it could interest many people here :)
fugger did you ever get into windows with 7.2ghz?
I was wondering the same thing, last post was about a month ago saying prolly sat or sunday? did it work? blow up? many innocents killed by the shrapnel?
Anyone notice that FUGGER hasn`t posted much since he got that "AMD winnie"! :stick:

AMD seams to care about the Enthusiasts the most, Intel seams to care about the PC manufacturers.... If Intel wants to rely on volume selling to OEMs in order to keep market share, well I guess going to the dark side seams like a pretty bright Idea for enthusiasts..... Unfortunately
