2cpu.com is probably a good place to go see about previous revisions. Only problem is the PC-DL thread is like 350-400 pages long over there so finding any worthwhile information is very time consuming. :( (never been a fan of huge threads like that... especially when 90% of the posts are off-topic)Quote:

The guy didn't have an invoice for the board, so warranty would be a no-go, in case the board gets broken.
Found a store, which seems to have it in stock. Just ordered it.

I noticed in the pictures that you used a "normal" power sup.
Will using this type of connection limit my overclock ?

Using a "normal" PSU I have 3.3Ghz stable, but the voltages get pretty low under full load. As soon as my tax return gets here I will be buying a 24/8 pin PSU, so I will be able to test the difference.
I'm using an ATX PC Power & Cooling on my rig that's running 3.42GHz. :shrug: I think as long as the power supply is up to it you're probably ok. But as with everything, YMMV.
Jeff, It was brought to my attention that that Number 9 S3 card I posted about in the other thread is a 2X AGP... so it WILL NOT work in an Intel chipset systems... please add something about doing some research when buying from dumpinggoods as to what AGP spec the cheapo cards are... you need at least a 4X card for Intel systems. Those cards should be OK in an AMD system, however.

I have my xeons up and running @ 3280 mhz "so far". :)
My production may not show it for a few days because I had to take 1 machine down to steal the power supply.

I have one of those power supplies Charloz24. It's a split 12v rail power supply that provides 18A to each rail. I have it running one of my 3.3GHz DX rigs just fine. If you can't find the FS supply with the one 12v, 36A rail, then this is a decent substitute.
Jeff I was wondering if you could possibly try and find the model number of the intel xeon heatsinks that you used? Shop-intel.com has a whole list.

Well I have another question. As for memory, I can't afford nowhaving 1 gig of ram. So what it the best option, 1 stick of 512mb OR 2x256mb for dual channel? I mean, is dual channel improve production or not? If not, I'm better with 1 stick of 512mb now and then buy another one later. Is cheap ram will do the job? Do timmings helps or not for D2OL?

That shouldn't be too hard to test - compare a S754 chip of the same clockspeed with a S939. There have to be more than a few forum users running say 3200+ chips in different sockets ;)
