wow this is pissing me off, i want to RMA my LE cus its the 700mhz gay version, but i KNOW they will send me a GT back... im hitting 1020 on ram (thats my max - any higher artifacts after about 5 hours of source)
maybe ill flash it with that bios, let it kill my card then send it back to them and demand an ultra :D
I was thinking, and I really want an ultra from them or else I'd feel cheated. If I got a refund I'd feel that I broke even. But I bought this for the components it's made up of, not the clockspeeds.
But anyways, I was thinking, maybe they'd just take some ultras and flash them with the le bios and give them to us as replacemnts lol? You think that's possible.

I'd reach for it everyting i have to remove one of the small rectangular Resistors that are on MB'S!!! I'll do a little review and put a couple small movies in the hardware section. Best thing about it is the light on the end when you turn it on to light up your work.
I've probably got 20 different soldering irons. I've got a very nice collection, Even old school one's for soldering Copper guttering and copper roofs, I used to be a Sheet metal worker. The soldering iron is 450 watts and the tip is 2 1/2 inches wide.
You can never have enough tools!!!
I don't get why you guys are having so much trouble with the 700mhz clocked ZZF cards, I got two of them. With the 1.5v ultra bios one does 1360mhz and the other 1335mhz. Better than the newegg one.
Cleaning off that thermal guaze is also recommended, that stuff is ridiculously bad.
13xx? wow
i cant even get 1250. ive tried 1.4gt 1.5 gt and orig bios. maybe ill have to try the ultra i donno
I can't even get 900mhz
so rma it alreadyQuote:

Out of curiousity, what is the SN of your card? (XX the last two digits of course)
463470004XX is one of the better batches.
5xx are clocking alright too.
mines the latter 4xx
it clocks pretty good....440/1250 so far
473470005xx
I checked the memory is 1.6ns. And I'm trying to rma it, but I can't call evga on the weekend
What do the serial numbers stand for? Are they dates or just some number?
Wow, these 6800's suck a lot of power. I had originaly adjusted my rails so my system would stay above 12.1v under load (with a 9800p), but now I'm seeing it hit 11.80 in 3d2k3, at 440/1150.
got 3 cards from zzf
1st one I have opened and am testing
came at 325/700
flashed to Ultra per ISO Tedlinde linked @1.4v
got some locks in 3d at 400/1100
upping vagp in bios to 1.6v and flashed to 1.5v bios
will try more.
No artifacts though :)
Got a new 3500+ 0.09u from monarch and am running aircooled with Alpha at 2.75ghz :). Can't wait to try this on Chilly1 modded prommy after I get my mounting figured out.

I honestly don't know, I didn't compare. It's something I do compulsively. The ramsinks heat up a good amount afterwards though.
Im changing mine now. After taking it apart im not too impressed with the GPU heatsink under there. I need to change to a waterblock and Ramsinks anyway. It wont fit in my sig rig. The DFI NF3 chip is so close to the AGP, This card wont fit my computer.
After taking the Gauze off and putting some paste on there, it's a very good fit with the ram Heatpipe with just some thermal paste for anyone that wants to do it, Im sure you'll get some better cooling.
IM going to wait till tomorrow to see if my MCW-50t fits it. I've got a 172 watt pelt on it. that should wake this card up!!
mine came in from ZZF
325/700
flashed to ultra bios 1.4
works fine at 400/1100
temps at 56 after a few mins of games
Hi , is there anybody who can send me the original BIOS 325/700?
http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5056
look in there. i know the original bios (325/1100) is included in the floppy disk image
I mean , the other BIOS that is coming with ZZF cards.... 325/700
What reason would you want it for?
are you trying to flash it to 325/700 so you can RMA it?
if so... :slap:
If thats the reason, flash it to the 325/1100, and say that you used the new bios.
For those who can get 400/1100 theres a new rev. of modded bios out that defaults to 400/1100 (previously 350/1100)
