First nForce3 Socket 939 Board Out!

Off topic:
Sorry guys for this question but i feel like i missed something....
3.7 volts DDR isnt too dangerus for cpu mem controller ????
I dont get it...
Something changed here with 939 socket@nforce3 250 and i miss it ?

All I did was have the v-core set to 1.95V.
Ran some 3D and it shut off the PSU. When I powered up the PSU somthing under that Mosfet heatsink thing poped.
This is the second mobo it blew on. I think it's with the VR for the v-core being set to low in Ohms.

with 1,84v i had 2900 32M spi , i think with your temp you could hit about 3100 3DMark 2K1 benchable with 1,9v :/
My mbm (5.3.7 M/B K8npro) temp idle at 1,5vcore is -26.
temp mbm idle at 1,7v bios idle is -22° just 67° between you and me !!!

Yep, I would think you'd want to hit 3.3-3.5 with it. How high did you get the cpu with the unmodded vcore?

What was the vcore for this OPP ?

Per haps k8nsnxp's vcore mod is wrong ; but with or without it , the vcore is very very unstable in full work , i remember the K8nspro nforce3 250 , and it was the same : Vcore raise and very variable in full too , without mods.
I think this variation is due to nf3 250, but it overclocks 30-40mhz better in aircooling than nf3 150.

I tested A8v/K8nsnxp , the gigabyte is the best overclocker : about 30-40 mhz better again with stock cooling stock Vcore. (the best in aircooling for me)
I agree the gigabyte's mosfets are very hot !!
I'll see that when i ll unscrew the M/B

When you gonna put the XT on phase change?

I don't suppose you'd consider running the CPU on air and putting the VC on the LS? It would be cool to see where the phase change helps the most. What kind of scores would you get at like 2660 on air with the card on the LS?

I have a cooler for the gpu, I haven't run it at that speed.

One of you guys should do a "TOPIC" on just mods for this board, it be a great help and save countless pages of reading for us mortals :)

Your car low wasn't THAT bad. Your drago low wasn't much better. If you would have gotten a better car and drago low other scores may not have been as good. I've noticed sometimes when I get a super good car low that my car high is less, and same on drago. Sometimes when I get great car and drago scores my lobby sucks. I hate when that happens! The other day I had a 2k1 run with record everything, but it completely bombed on Nature. I was sick! Would probably have been in the neighborhood of 31.2k.:mad:

Yeah, the best runs are the ones that die. No, it wasn't that bad, but a good run would have added around 200 points.
