I dunno Stephen, my Sabertooth has improper PWM at boot as well. I dunno if it's a 1155 thing or just a coincidence, but my processor spikes a fever at boot and then PWM takes over and it's OK.

it really depends on the motherboards. having a fan or pump at full speed for 30s when booting isn't a huge deal and there isn't much of a fix other than setting up everything manually with a Fan controller.
I'm sure I can tinker with it in the ESA. It's still not like our old systems of pump relays, either. I just remind myself it could be so much worse...
I should be getting a sabertooth this week to verify this.
stay tuned
So Stephen,
Where can I order the ApogeeDrive II from? Available yet, or a few more days?
Stephen, when you test, mine doesn't start turning until right before loading windows. But, I'm using an nVidia ESA system to control everything, so it could be lag imparted there. If I unhook the system, the install goes wild, so I've just left it be (after it starts up, it's really great.) I've fired off a message to my buddy at ASUS to see if it's an implemented delay or it's something in my own system.
This must be on the Sabertooth Intel 1155 models because my Sabertooth FX990 does not do that once I set the fans to silent in the bios.
Do you know whent he Helix fans will be available in Europe and where I should look to buy them?
Their shipment should be leaving within a few days.
Thanx Stephen, appreciated!
Will keep eyes peeled for this one - currently of to the cafe to buy a box of matches, should do the job nicely
bump for Apogee Drive II!
We all are.
How much patience are we talking here? 2-3 weeks or Duke Nukem Forever?
...and as for the rest of the new products, maybe it's time someone from Swifty admit that the schedule was a little too. . .ambitious.
Not impatient. . .crackheads. . .and we need our respective fix's and we need them NOW!!!!!! :cussing:
I would normally tell Mike to keep his kilt on but, I know what he's going through because I'm going bonkers about the rads.
I've dropped mine, and scared the crap out of my poor wife :(Quote:

As for the schedule, yes it was probably too ambitious. Products were ready for the most part but our machines/prod. line has just been too busy.
