thanks mate, finally worked out how to actually get some nice benefit from the hdd scores in this bench
sorry i took so long to respond, i thought i was going to sydney to bench with Dino but it never eventuated!
looking forward to SteveRo response!
wow, nice indeed, that is the highest game score ive ever seen! :)
is this with 1231? amazing!
yes it is the 1231ML, we got the 4GB memory module recently and it really does help a lot also :D
well that was a helluva jump with that 4GB stick LOL, great job! them corsair force SSD must be UBER!
did you pour LN2 on the 1231? :D
here we go Computurddddddddddddd SteveROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ;) where are u ppl??
FINALLY :) cant wait to see how this turns out...hey turn on your messenger for a change :)
youngpro's been playing with SR2, it doesnt scale with extra cores unfortunately
dont say that ;) and is just the begining :D
remember its only 3.1Ghz aircooled pc ;) with 8500 memories :D with 4850 @ 700/1200 Mhz
Alright Mr Tilt!
Looing good - keep it up!
ok the clocks are pretty high for not touching the Volts im at 3,8Ghz but i need some help with voltages anyone ??
Everything are on stock cooling
nice work tilt, keep pushing :) i will be online tomorrow to help
There a lot of information in EVGA forums and http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1556078 Please find out according to you CPU.
I run my single X5677 as well aircooled 180@4500 Cpu Vcore 1,4875 VTT 1,5 IOH 1,425. Almost month now.
Not polite for CPU considering long benchmark sessions but briefly gives a hint what to expect if going with watercooling ;)
i agree with this!Quote:
1.5Vtt is asking for a cooked CPU
i cant find anything for E5520 and SR2 :S
It is the same as another 32nm CPU. Don't expect to take it much higher than 200blck unless you want to cook your CPU's with excessive amounts of Vtt.
A great SR-2 thread can be found @ [h] here. http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1541357.
Both of my SR-2's have been great amounts of stress to me.
why? do they just not overclock well?Quote:
Both of my SR-2's have been great amounts of stress to me.
and also, if one was a pain, why did you buy two you lucky bastard?
The caused my large amounts of stress due to the fact that I had to RMA both of them both within days of receiving them. One died completely and the other had half the DIMMs not working. I bought two because if I can actually get both working properly it will make some monsterous points for foldig@home.
im over 205 blck stable but i want more :P i have overclock them to 3,8Ghz point but im not stable at 210 blck at stock voltage so i need some lessons on Vcore Vtt etc so i can OC over 4,0Ghz :S
as u can see im performing Wprime32 and 1024 stable at 205 blck without tuning voltages
What is your Vtt at? I am not sure how 45nm CPU's work on an SR-2 but at least w/ 32nm CPU's they require a whole lot of Vtt to get higher than 200bclk.
I forgot what to install for the " PCMark Communications 1"
Data compression (N/A) Test.
I can not get a result without this test :(
Can someone help me :)
