Nice man, what gain did you get from the Dimm Skew setting?
Now try to get high FSB with similar RAM speeds ;)
Well ive been banging away on QX all day on air, just trying to get used to the board again.
Dunno if its all boards the same, but this one is a picky mother :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: when it comes to vMCH and vTT
Try to find the sweet spots on voltages.
Mine likes exactly one MCH voltage, and either side will crash at the same FSB loading windows.
Similar with VTT but a bit bigger window.
Sorry but ,my two OS are dead :( . I have no more time for repair one.
VTT on auto ,i keep that.
LP 9 was fixed in the bios. LP 8 no tested .
My last result on everest
That's not a high FSB.
PL9
very nice
i saw some old settings of yours in the thread but they don't do anything for me
just trying to boot past 590MHz FSB and have no luck
setfsb doesn't give me much more than 600 at 580/590 boot
with DDR2 board i was benching 620*10 the other day 3D
I have no prob posting at up to 615mhz fsb into windows with any of the first 3 ddr strap settings on the drop down list prob is only the 5:6 is stable so 600mhz fsb=700mhz ram and really any fsb over 560mhz with 5:6 is only one that can finish 2x 32m's at once :(
I can get at 500mhz fsb all the dividers to work that give 600/800 and 1000mhz ram speeds but the stabilty even with high vchp and ice water on the chipset with ek blocks doesnt help at all
After seeing some guys like 3oh6 getting good dual 32m speeds I think it has to be that some boards are better than others by alot :(
Ive measured vdimm in the ddr3 slot and I know what the ram can do via every ddr3 board to date Ive ran this cellshock on and this board just cant seem to run high ram speeds or run the ram stable at all.
and forget all that everest stuff as I can do that at 600mhz fsb with 1000mhz ram speed but single 8m errors out in loop #2, lol so that benchmark besides for showing off for a 2second benchmark does nothing to show overall stabilty on this board :(
LP8 it's possible ,next time i will test that .
LP7 with 1000MHz 8-8-8-24 it's possible too . Around 12500 on memory read.
With my new Gigabyte EP45T-Extreme and the bios F4B :)
Full Aircooling :)

I just have been playing with max bandwidth.
@BulldogPO : nice m8 ;)
alright, this is the EP45T locker room so i will ask here.
anyone else find this a bit strange?
sorry for the big screenshots but i am too lazy to make thumbs...
500x8 4000MHz 1:2 1000Mhz 7-6-5

500x8 4000MHz 1:2 1000Mhz 8-7-6

note how the bandwidth is identical and the only change, and i mean only change, are the memory timings
and voltage. CL7 wouldn't run with any less voltage and 32M errors out right away at CL7 whereas CL8
ran 32M fine at those settings. so obviously it is CL7...but shouldn't bandwidth be a pinch higher? i don't
honestly think i have ever done a direct comparison between 8-7-6 and 7-6-5 bandwidth before so i could
be out to lunch. i wish i could have ran 32M with both setups to compare results :(
yeah that's odd
both times are fast but it seems that CAS7=8
only thing now is 32M that will tell them apart
exactly, bandwidth can only tell so much. i couldn't even get 5 loops out of CL7 though to get an idea.
and now, like always, the board won't run anything close to it
like how i have a dual32M screenshot of 530FSB 1:2 tRD7 with high bandwidth and now, can't even get
530FSB tRD7 to boot or not blue screen immediately if lowering in Windows...i love to hate this board but
there is a lot of potential somewhere in here, i just can't put it away ;)
Ill be putting mine away promptly after GOOC believe me.
Never had such a buggy chipset before.
Unfortunately unlike all you guys, it seems that my Patriot 1866 sticks wont run at 1000 at all. Maxes around 940 somewhere regardless of timings and volts.
What stick are all you guys using who get crazy high clocks?
haha, priceless, i have put it away a half dozen times but then a new BIOS comes out or someone starts
a thread somewhere and i pull it out again. soon it will go back for good.

look at that bandwidth
how the hell did you pull off Trd7 is beyond me
is that NB watercooled :D....1.7v nice
All these posts about bandwidth, and yet we still cant get any decent CPU/Mem clocks together at the same time making the board basically useless for extremers.
Yesterday wore my patience down to almost nothing with this board.
Sitting there for HOURS trying to get 500fsb on QX stable was futile.
not all that useless
hehehe
just need to have a good chat with it to see what we can agree on when it comes to 600+ benchmarks
:ROTF:

400 strap :rolleyes:but still good efficiency in 3D
too bad i can't figure out what these low GT2/GT3 bug is :rolleyes:
7 hour session last night
i tried EVERYTHING and still the :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: won't let me bench past 600Mhz FSB argh!
Can you send me your BIOS settings for 600fsb, i used to be able to do that speed but somehow lost the ability.
