not a bad 2.4

I couldn't find him at Extreme (ehem) Overclocking Forums, but I would have PM'd him had I, and told him we've missed him. I beleive everyone deserves another chance...

While you've reminded me, I too was skeptical after the NB comment, I later attained 305FSB on my Abit IS7-E after removing the NB/HS. I'd lapped the NB/HS on the Abit and my Epox simultaneosly, and after frying my Epox 4PCA3+ (after placing the Heatsink back on it shorted the chip) I wouldn't dare do it with the Abit. I had just paced the a Abit IC7 in my system after lapping just the NB/HS (not the chip), so I decided to lap both NB's on the other boards (HS and chips) while I had the paper and such out.

I tested this theory by replacing the Abit IS7-E's NB/HS, and it wouldn't boot. Luckily it didn't have the same permenant effect as on the Epox, because the mobo still worked. Point is it's possible to run the NB without a HSF, and reach 300+ FSB speeds.

I think weve found a place in our hearts for Kenneth, and I think we'd be glad to have him back. So long as he posts benchmark results with his claims. At least for a while.

Well this is just a theory but he could be back under another username. KennethChong and KennyC seem very similar in terms of names at least :p: Plus KennyC is a new member.
Yeah everyone deserves another chance but its pretty silly to pull such a trick especially since ppl want to see benchmark scores :rolleyes:

Hmm....what started out being simple jokes with the whole photoshop thing ended up possibly being real?

I don't necessarily want to say that it was faked, but...I was shocked when I heard these results.

If it's real.....wow...incredible.

my 2.4c was stable @ 315fsb on my IS7-e in my vapo. Anything above that and it would get slow as molasses.

I dont or wouldnt mind him coming back, whether it was fake or not.

He would just be watched a lot closer. If he really did go on a honymoon and came back to this.

Man it would be easier just to disappear.

The minute i seen the guys avatar on the first post, i knew his post was a fake. I mean, wtf?? Posting a picture of yourself in 3 different gay'ish positions doesn't usually denote mind stablity. And that other dude there was telling him how "beautifull" his collage looked...LOL!!

the other clue was the fact that everytime somebody asked for a benchmark or the revision/batch of the CPU he had some bogus answer "Oh, i am frying my bananas now, i can't take out the CPU"..."Oh, i am so pretty, i don't want to chip my nails removing that heatsink off the CPU"..."I am not a real blond...or am i?"

He was never one of our overclocking Guru's, so get that out of your head. Overclocking Guru's are known by the same name across many forums, and pretty much everyone know's their name.

What would be your name in some other forums, I dont see it in any of the main one's???

And if he is gay, he can still overclock?? and still post here!!!

His Avatar is his business, and we dont make fun of people here. Im an easygoing mod. Most of the others wont go for any judgeing people or anything along the lines of flaming.

Tedinde, i was being judgmental, but heck, that is how we all human are. You know, sometimes you see a face and think "hmm...this person is trustworthy", and another face you wouldn't trust even with your socks?. Judging based on traits, appearence is the base of our physiognomical psychi. There you go, human behavior at it's best.

If i hurt someone with the "gay'ish" string i apologise. I will choose my wording more carefully next time :)

Oh, and don't worry, i know he is not a guru, i was laughing at the way OPPAINTER promoted him to one due to the mere fact that his fake CPU got these fake results. It is not OPPAINTER fault, he was taken by the event. It was something extraordinaire.

i started ocing only a few months ago - inspired by chongs skills and 'not so bad 2.4C' . but now he:s gone.....

Gotta say it was a gr8 thread i read here. at first i was jaw droppingly astounded then after the first seven pages just couldnt stop reading cos of the humour but i feel sry for the guys that defended this guy.

hope he feels ashamed and ive seen kenneth elsewhere cant wait till he posts again im gonna have so much fun.
(Im not gonna say where as he will be huntred down and be hangin from the nearest tree judging some of the comments ive seen) but im gonna be frequenting this forum a lot more now and its all thanx to kenneth.
