There are some really great mod's here :D
That Ben guy has some sick stuff :ROTF:
super thread
...love how much stick tape and cardboard is used
Lol i laughed my eyes out on some mods.. You guys surely have some creative inspiration.
I hate to see one of those cardboard cases go water cooled and develop a leak. Hey maybe it's a great idea after all, if you start leaking your parts automatically eject!
funny thing is... I ran this for a few months because I'm so lazy.. haha
this was some time ago of course ;)

A PC I knocked up to fit into an arcade machine I was building, it had limited space down the side of the screen so I had to hack an old case to bits.

My roomate bought a HP that is overheating big time,He first has this desk fan blowing on his computer as if it was a Car on a dyno w/ its hood open. That got old, so he took my old XPS_720 fans (120mm and 80mm) and duck taped them into the front of his computer, and has them running at 100%. These fans move alot of air, and at 100% in a tiny case like his, there are literally hurricane force winds in the inside of his computer. there is no airflow at all through the front so there is a huge vacum force generated at the front of the computer. It sounds like a 747 is taking off when he turns on his computer.

Finally got round to modding a spare mouse I had.
Specs as follows..
PENTIUM 4 1.9Ghz CPU :yepp:
SALTIRE sticker for extra coolness :D
just for fun obviously
Starting from the practical stuff... To get HDD's more silent

Tried just for curiosity, got about 4-6 degrees off from NB temp. Notice the matching colors!

Action:

Then to the cooler part... Palit has the 3 slot version of 4870x2... but I have a 4 slot version of 4850 :p:

I'll flip that cover so the wire will go from behind... just for looks
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...0209183105.jpg
You can see the grey wire going behind the thumb screws. In the end of that lead, is a BIOS clearing switch. No way in hell the jumper can be accessed anymore!
And you can see the southbridge cooler, a Zalman northbridge heatsink... I did have a fan on it but that is just useless. Maybe I could hook it up.
Now all my fan controller channels are in use. Rear exhaust, top exhaust, 2x front intake, PWM fan, GPU fan... I admit it. I am a control freak!
