So whats going on with this board anything good like the P35;)
For those of you that may be interested when the Bios Files become available I will be Programming and Selling Bios Chips for the D.F.I LT X38:up:
its only 20-50 more than the p35 so i dont see why not
i think it is a standard bios so when you FUBAR yours up u just replace it.
sounds riduclous but i thought i would ask about any bios uopdate for the LT X38 board?
Good Afternoon , John:)
Have you gotten around to seeing what the Cell Shock brings with this X38 yet?;)
Thanks John:) Just let me know when you see whats up with the Cell Shock on this Board:D
So if I buy a bios chip from you, could I send the old one back to have it updated?
here it goes with this board...first with a Q6600 and then with a QX9650...let you guys know how it works out.
be back in a hour or so.
got my board
weird thing happened would not power up after a few hours of messin around
took another ps and got power put back my ps n booted up lol weird
well now i know why brother esau loves dfi so much buillt quality boot speed much faster n better than i ever seen worth the wait for this board
now i gotta learn dfi bios lol
anyone got a x38 bios template yet more options than dfi-p35 lol
Yes, you can buy one from me and you you can send in the old one into dfi and they will re program as part of RMA service = Bios chip replacement Charge even though it isn't being replaced just reprogrammed:rolleyes: Or I can do it for you but at that point probably be just as expensive as buying one with shipp to and fro ya know?
so is anyone running vista x64. I've got it installed but every time I run everest or CPU-Z the system powers down, at any clock speed. And its not a blue screen, It's a full blown power off. its very wierd, I think its a bios issue, maybe compatibility with x64...
well i cant show you guys screens, for obvious reasons, but I'm stable at 3.6 (450x8) on this q6600, its pretty sweet, at least for a brand new board and an untested CPU (I have no reference to go on atm)
Q6600 (using Tuniq 120) at 3800 mhz completing wPrime 1024M.
bios is a bit complex to know what settings to tweak to hold 3810 mhz....gad, LOVE the simplicity of the IP35 Pro bios!!!
i wish i had put my TRUE on the Q6600 (fixed to the IP35 Pro)...but...the Tuniq is holding the temps in a reasonable fashion....still have to mount the Tuniq like you have to for the TRUE.
here is wPrime 1024M.
ace what are ur load temps
i got her up to 4,0 for now still tweaking
everest crashin pc n i'm occt stable
