Nitroburn,
I know you must be frustrated... I wish I could give you the key settings to make everything better, but unfortunately I'm not too familiar with the Qx9650 / Corsair Ram... I'm almost tempted to purchase the CPU.... I've seen allot of good results...
Questions
- Have you been updating your bios from your OS or Bio?
- What version of Bios are you currently using?
- What OS are you using?
- What's your Rams voltage range (For example mine is 1.75-1.85)
Now back to your problem...
Start from scratch... Clear RTC RAM / Reset Defaults / Reload v903 From Bios / Exit & Restart System.... Refer to manual for guidance....
Start OS with all default settings in place / check for stability.....
If everything works - go to the next step
Start Bios and enter the following settings
Ai Overclock Tuner: Manual
CPU Ratio Control: Manual
CPU Ratio Settings: 9
FSB Strap to North Bridge: Auto
FSB Frequency: 444
PCIE Frequency: Auto
DRAM Frequency: Auto
DRAM Command Rate: Auto
DRAM Timing Control: Auto
-------------------------------

Use Everest’s System Stability Test (let it run for about 20 -30 min - Keep track of your CPU Temps) and Provide the following information from the Lavalys Everest CPUID
Core Voltage
Memory Type
Memory Clock
DRAM: FSB Ratio
If your system is stable - make more manual adjustments... Keep track of all your changes for future ref..
.
Good Luck....
