Has anyone tried a quad core on this board with good results? I can't get much above 400FSB.

Is that guessing or "believe" as in know for sure? I'm going to keep using this board until the 38's come out so hope it will.

believe as in i recall reading that the new beta has the microcode. i can't remember if it was 613 or 702/703. refer to dfi's site. it should say

I've been running a E6750 1333Mhz bus CPU since the original bios came out :D

So yeah it does work!!!

Note: Official release of bios 703 killed my overclockability. I flashed back to beta 613 and my overclock is back(3.4ghz @ 1.5v now). I'd guess it's whatever was needed to support the 7950x2 thats killing it.

I was debating on flashing to see if I can get past this 405FSB on my quad. Guess I'll just stick with the 0424.

Turns out its my chip or cooling. 450 X 8 ran 3DMark06 just fine :)

This dfi is an excellent product. I would suggest it to anyone that running dual core. But i will RMA it only because of this annoying sound :(

The key is to set Mode3 and Mode2 at the first 2 DRAM Timing options. Without this i couldnt get more than 530 fsb

anyone try a g0 in the p965? fcg says it's a no go currently, and i'm too lazy to check the microcode on the 703 bios. got a e6750 enroute. hoping to use the dfi for a few more weeks until x38 comes out to decide if i should go p35 or x38

No mention of 6f6 either, and we know it works. So is it necessary? And I remember a few bioses I tried didn't have microcode and still worked. So will g0 need this at all? It'd be 6fb right?

edit: oops I'm blind. But 6f7 isn't on the list, and b3's work, so does my point still hold?
